There once were two brothers (Dean and Sam) who lost their mother at a very young age and their dad was always away on business trips. It is not until middle school that they find out what their father does for a living; he hunts supernatural beings. As they were growing up it was Dean 's job to look after Sam, and he continues to do so even though they are both grown men. While Sam went to Stanford Dean stayed back with his dad to continue the "family" business. Then one night their father didn 't come back from a trip; Dean 's first reaction was to call all his cell phones but when he did not answer he went to go get Sam from college and start searching for him. The relationship between these brothers is relatable to anyone with a brother or sister; they bicker constantly but would take a bullet for the other any day. They took many bullets throughout the seasons; it appears that every other episode one of them is on the verge of death and the other must figure out a way to save the other 's life. They have made deals with Lucifer, demons, crossroad demons, death himself, angels, God and witches to save the others life. Their end of the deal would rarely get fulfilled because they would normally kill whoever they made the deal with but in later seasons they made alliances with some of the demons and angles, so they could stop making deals and just have people help them. Unfortunately, there are still people that want them dead so they put curses on the boys or just send people to try and kill them. However, the reason for Sam and Dean dying is not always someone else 's fault sometimes they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They have battled vampires, shapeshifter, demons, angels, cherubs, fairies, the four horsemen, ghosts, hellhounds, werewolves, reapers, leviathans, prophets, sirens, skinwalkers, wendigos and many more creatures. The biggest thing that they have dealt with is when they are separated and have to survive on their own then trying to come back to terms and start working together again. Every sibling has their issues and when you 're working with them 24/7 it gets a little overwhelming. Families are an important aspect of this show. If you 're in a family of some sort connected by blood or no blood, you will have someone or a group of people protecting you. Theorists argue that the monster’s elusiveness is due to its physical, psychological and social characteristics that cross the lines of classification. Human’s innate fear of the unknown is due to their inability to make a distinction or draw a clear conclusion. This is explained further in Jeffrey Cohen’s second thesis in “Monster Theory” that claims that; “the monster never escapes” (Cohen, 14). The zombie as a monster can never be destroyed completely and if it is, it leaves a remnant the make people feel uncertain of its destruction. Influence of Supernatural on William Shakespeare's Macbeth During Shakespeare's time people were frightened of witches as they were associated with evil. Many people were accuse of being witches and automatically burnt at the stake. Some of these people were old, deformed in some or people who were living alone, therefore considered as abnormal and a threat to society. Witchcraft was taken very seriously which probably made this play extremely interesting for people in Shakespeare times as it also settled peoples views of witches at the time. Shakespeare has chosen to open the play with the witches on a moor in thunder and lightening.
Each person in the family starts to develop a job or rule that that play in the family that others can’t really fill. For example Jeannette and Brain’s relationship with each other are almost stronger than anyone in the family. The role that Brain plays is the one that is extremely quiet unless with his family and even though he is a younger sibling he sees it as his goal to protect Jeannette, even if it evolves fighting older bigger girls but if it’s for his family he will do it. Lori is always lost in a book but he is like the mother of the family even though their real mother is around. Their father is bright man that the kids get to see from time to time but then there alcoholic father appears and that’s when problems arise. When it comes to functioning at younger ages they were almost completely dependent on their parents like all kids are, as they started to reach teenage they started to rely less on their parents and more on each other. They started to get their own jobs, when they needed resources they would rather depend on each other or themselves. The communication was free for the kids if they had a question or a problem they would voice their concerns but the only time they didn’t was when they saw that their father was drinking or was drunk. The Importance of the Supernatural in Macbeth by William Shakespeare The supernatural is to play an essential part in the play 'Macbeth'; this is made clear from the first paragraph of the play, when the three witches are introduced. It is represented in many different forms, mainly: the witches, the dagger and the ghost of Banquo. Shakespeare's use of imagery and creative language in the play creates tension, fear and clearly displays the importance of the supernatural theme. At the start of the play, the supernatural is disguised in the form of nature, in this case a storm. Shakespeare uses pathetic fallacy to describe the strong force of nature- "Thunder and lightning - Enter three Witches.
Mike and Dana had a nice relationship which came to a brink as they started to disagree about the future of their only robot son. They did not take their time to logically think and investigate Cole’s issue and were influenced by outside people to come to a split decision. Even though Mike did his part best supporting Cole mentally, he failed to consider Cole’s future and did not foresee that he might lose him forever. Dana lacked the sympathy toward Cole’s present condition which did nothing more than worsening Cole’s condition by making him depress and feel guilty. Thus, the parents’ indecisive and rushing manner toward their son covered both their relationship and their son’s future with darkness.

It is necessary however, to define what is meant by the terms ‘occult’ and ‘supernatural’: the term ‘occult’ is defined as being ‘supernatural beliefs, practises or phenomenon’ and the term ‘supernatural’ is defined as being ‘attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature’; both these terms can be associated with gothic writing. Gothic writing usually involves elements that invoke a feeling of fear, repulsion and abhorrence from its readers or audience. Writers use imagery of the supernatural to achieve this effect, for example in Shelley’s Frankenstein the descriptions of Frankenstein’s creature: language and imagery here being used to invoke the emotion of fear.
With the positives, come the negatives, some may consider “saviour siblings” as being a cruel process for the saviour child. The child may grow up feeling like they weren’t born for themselves, that they were unwanted or that they were only born for “spare parts” for their sibling.
One of H.P. Lovecraft’s many short stories, “The Outsider” has been praised since its publication as his most profound and meaningful. This story has been interpreted many different ways, varying from an autobiography of Lovecraft himself to several different philosophical analyses. One such interpretation, by Dirk Mosig compares the plot and settings of “The Outsider” to Lovecraft’s own doubtful views of religion and an afterlife. Mosig supports his interpretation with many facts from the story, I believe he pinpoints one very possible meaning of the story. His argument successfully uses the plot and details to convince the reader that his hypothesis is correct.

Because of the plentiful amounts of evidence the paranormal is real; not only is there a probable chance of its existence, but it is additionally beginning to be proven by science as well.
Growing up, I always found sanctuary confiding in my father’s youngest brother, Dean; I had a favorite uncle, as we all seem to have at one point in our lives. Since Uncle Dean was the youngest, I looked at him as the coolest out of the myriad of older relatives. He often bought me ice cream sundaes and showered me with aimless jokes and “piggy-back” rides. Most of the time spent visiting my father on weekends, was actually spent wrestling with Uncle Dean or playing video games until the break of daylight. I looked forward weekends, because that meant “Uncle Dean Time”. I expected to hang out with my Uncle Dean every Friday and Saturday. In fact, I knew for certain he would be waiting at my father’s home with some brand new clothes or any other prize vied for by a 10 year old. Little did I know that over the next coupe of years, I would gain knowledge of one of the most important lessons of life: value those dearest to you, for you never know how long they will be in your company.
