All of a sudden I found myself thinking sociologically when I was in Dunkin donuts and all the customers were there I 'm working in Dunkin donuts as an employee only in weekends. so It was Saturday, and the climate was almost beautiful and sunny so it was a quite busy day. All the customers were coming and giving their orders. I was just a mere observer watching how people were interacting. There were all group age people from a child to a young and an old person. Also, there were American, Indian, African, different cultures people were present. People were there for their needs because in the morning everyone is hungry and everyone wants to eat something. I keep a smiley face whenever I talked with the customers and in return customers also smiles. moreover, Several customer places their order by saying that I want combo 4 or by giving a hand gesture or indicating something that was in the combo’s list. One of the examples is when I suggest a customer to take a donut she replied me no by saying that I’m on the diet. As an employee, I learned many social ways how to interact with your customers for example, a regular customer who is quiet old comes in that Dunkin donuts regularly without letting them order his Coffee and Donuts we make his Coffee ready as we saw her is kind of non-verbal communication because we know every time he is taking the same coffee, donuts, and senior discount during transaction.
