A hero does not kill people for power. They do it to save the other people. Andrew Jackson killed Charles Dickinson in a duel for no apparent excuse except to get power. This is why I gather Andrew Jackson is an evil person or monster. To begin, I will talk about how Andrew Jackson cheated in a duel by firing twice. Back then it was illegal to go that. He dueled him because Charles Dickinson said he cheated a bet in a horse race. So to say he didn’t cheat, Andrew cheated at the duel which makes no sense. Additionally, In 1830, Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, which he had worked to push through Congress. This act allowed him to negotiate removal treaties with Native American tribes, whom the Supreme Court had ruled were not allowed
