What is the definition of political culture? To describe political culture, it is a social science where people share their beliefs, values, moral judgment, and sentiments when dealing with politics. Based on the historical past of many people who came before our time. Political culture is a broad general concept that people follow; in addition, it's a system that both the citizens and government serve by. Countries all over the world have different political cultures, not just America, and it shows how their cultures work when dealing with politics with their government democracy. The United States have three core American values, and they are the democracy, equality, and freedom. The three cores are what America values the most in terms of political culture. Democracy is a system made up of representatives that have consent and majority rule on political decisions. People decide and choose these leaders that are going to make important decisions for the nation. It’s important core value for American because it’s a fair way decisions are made by the people. Now for equality, it’s an important core value for America, because of how the government gives access, opportunity, and treatment for people who in America. There are also three forms of equality first one is political equality that by law gives everyone an opportunity for one person to vote, second one is equality of opportunity which cut any artificial barriers limiting your life or success, and third one is equality of results which involves the sharing of goods, and sharing of effort. And the last one for America core values is freedom it’s described as one person free from restraint from the state. Those are the three cores that America really values when it comes to democracy, freedom, and equality ideology. In America, everyone in this country has these three core values whether it's democracy about their political views and ideology, or with freedom having unrestricted restraint as an individual person, and equity having equal opportunity as
