Their goal for the American Medical Association is to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health. It works to enhance delivery of care and enables physicians and health teams to partner with patients to achieve better health. For better patient experience, better population health, lowerall costs, improved professional satisfaction. There is a few things that they had accomplished in the past. AMA has tried for over 100 years to create a better future for people. In 1961, a Sabin oral vaccination was recommended to fight against polio. In 1973 physicians were urged to combat hypertension. Any member of AMA has access to the AMA archives, which is a benefit.
