Aly Raisman is a hero becasue she is a leader, she is courageous, and she is honest. Even though she is young she has faced some hardships, but she still has had some big accomplishments throughout her life and is still continuing to be legendary in her sport. Alexandra Rose Raisman was born on May 25 1994 in the town of Needham Massachusetts. Aly Raisman's’ parents are Lynn and Rick Raisman. Aly is the oldest of four siblings. Her siblings are Brett, Chloe, and Madison Raisman. According to biography.com started gymnastics when she when she was two years old and her mother put her in mommy and me classes. At the age of ten Aly Raisman raised her bar she began to work with new coaches at a new gym. She worked with Mihai and Slyvie Brestyan at the American Gymnastics Club. I think that she has selflessness because she helps many kids and she was the USA team leader for both the 2012 and the 2016 Summer Olympics. She always put her teams before herself. She is also courageous she is courageous becasue she tried out for the Olympics two times even though she knew that she would be the oldest one. She is also courageous becasue she told people about being abused by her team coach and she did not think about the people that said she was faking it. Aly Raisman is also honest because she told the truth about being abused. The last heroic quality I can think of for Aly Raisman is that she is very educated.
