The thought of becoming a success as an author has always appealed to me and furthermore decided my career. Writers and authors develop written materials, namely stories and advertisements for books, magazines, and online publications. The duties that authors normally complete is conducting research to support the facts, write advertisements for functions, and show drafts to editors. These duties are performed for all genres of authors, Copywriters, Biography, Generalists, Novelists, Songwriters, Playwrights, Screenwriters. (Occupational Outlook Handbook)
To succeed as an author courses and requirements are needed to be met. A college/bachelor’s degree is usually a necessity for working as a full-time author or writer. Due to literature skills being essential, employers prefer those that have degrees in journalism, english, and communications. Work experiences in high school can also support you in future resumes and interviews.
