REPORTER: The reporter/anonymous called to report abuse for the victims, Harbor and Brody. According to the reporter, Brittany (mother) doesn’t feed the children, and she never cooks. Warren (Harbor’s father) buys groceries for the house, and he has the receipts in his truck. There is food in the home; the reporter said the children only eat if Warren is there because he cooks and buys food. Warren is in and out of the home at times. The reporter said the children have lost weight (unknown how much), and they (Brittany, Brody, and Harbor) are skinny (skin and bones). Wednesday (01/27/2016) evening the reporter stopped by the house around 6:00pm and stayed until 7:00pm, and Harbor had on a Jacket and boots and she had not been fed. The reporter said Brittany sleeps all day and allows Harbor run inside the apartment by herself, and she doesn’t feed her or change her diaper. DSS received a report of physical abuse, physical neglect and substantial risk of physical abuse on March 3, 2017 alleging there is chaos in the home. After returning with his brothers from their cousin’s house, the boys had to go to bed. The reporter stated that Xzavia banged on his mother’s bedroom door on three separate occasions wanting something to eat. The first time he was told to go back to bed and a popping noise was heard. The second time Ms. Kimberly Dawkins grabbed Xzavia by the head, shook him little and told him to go back to bed. The third time Ms. Dawkins grabbed Xzavia, threw him on the bed, got a gun, held him down and pointed it at him. Reporter states there was no clip in the gun. Ms. Dawkins was reported being upset and it was reported that she left the home for twenty minutes but came back. It was reported that while Ms. Dawkins was gone, Xzavia was very upset and he was crying and Tyzhaun stared punching holes in the wall. It was reported that Xzavia says he wanted to die and that Atmorris went and got a knife, stated to Xzavia, “You want to die?”, here’s the knife and the two older brothers, Tyzhaun and Atmorris left the house and Xzavia chased them. When this story broke I noticed a few of the headlines from various news source. Each headline and in return each article somewhat mirrored each other with the limited facts of the case. These simply put, where that while cleaning the garage Megan Huntsman's husband had found a dead baby, wrapped in plastic, in the garage. The police were called and the officers found the deceased infant inside the plastic bag. The husband, Darren West, contacted his wife and asked about the dead baby. She admitted to her husband the baby was stillborn and placed in a box. At that point the police got a search warrant and discovered six additional bodies. All the bodies appeared to be infants. The reporting party (RP) stated foster child Alexandria Pereira was exposed to emotional trauma when the foster parents initiated media coverage of the child's removal from the foster home on 3/19/16. The foster child experienced emotional harm when filmed by the media. The foster child was exposed to the foster parents’ biological children screaming, crying and calling out her name. Family members of foster parent Summer Page banged on the car door as the foster child was being transported way from the home. RP met with the foster child on 3/21/16 as she described feeling embarrassed by all the cameras during her removal. Additionally she stated she did not like it when they banged on the car.
