Wouldn’t you prefer a nice, sunny and welcoming place to live in? I’ve got to admit, I really dislike Seattle. Overall, I believe Richland is a better place to live than Seattle. The cost of living is cheaper. The weather seems to always be nicer. Housing expenses are cheaper. The traffic is less stressful. The crime rate is lower. The food and gas prices are also lower in Richland. One of my brothers, who was recently married to a girl from Seattle, moved to Seattle, due to a job position. My family and I have visited him in Seattle a couple of times since he moved there and both times it has been rainy, wet and cold. According to Sperling’s Best Place, "It is 37% cheaper to live in Richland than Seattle" (Sperling’s). Most things that people buy in Richland are cheaper than buying them in Seattle. The weather in Richland is more pleasant than Seattle. From experience, on a nice day in Richland in the winter the sun is shining, there are no clouds, and it's fairly warm. But on a nice day in Seattle during the winter, it is rarely sunny, it’s cloudy and cold. According to other research, “Richland has 66.8% less rainy days and 28.9% more sunny days than Seattle” (Sperling’s). Richland has more to offer, in general. For example, as I have already mentioned, it’s cheaper to live in Richland, the weather is nicer, the housing expenses are cheaper, the traffic isn't as stressful as Seattle traffic, crime level is lower, and believe it or not the health expenses are cheaper, food prices are lower, and gas prices are cheaper. From experience and research, Richland is a nicer and more pleasant place to live and the atmosphere is more
