Recommended: Narrative story having cancer

One day Ben had a check up at the doctor's office. He felt like something was wrong because he had been having bad headaches and been really nauseous. His doctor told him it might just be stress or or not eating well. Ben went home and after a few days he still felt sick and had the worst head ache. So Ben called the doctor again and wanted to get an MRI or something to at least see what’s going on inside his head. The doctor put him through the scanner and he went in the back room to wait for his results. Two hours later his doctor came out looking at him asking himself how can such a young person have brain cancer already. “Doctor Renee before you say anything just tell me if it’s good news or bad.” She replied with a little sigh of help. …show more content…

He thought if the doctors could find a cure fast enough he could be loved and know how it feels to be “normal”. Her name was Violet. She has this silky blond flowing hair that went down to her ribs and he remember what it was like to have hair, he missed it a lot. Every time Violet would walk by he would get a scent of her perfume that was called Kiss. Ben recognized it from one of the girls he used to have a crush on in the 11th grade. She smiled with her bright smile with her perfectly white teeth. He loved seeing her everyday. One day he wants to talk to her and tell her everything. He wanted to love someone and to feel special. Then all of a sudden his mom ran in. She was happy to see Ben awake. “Ben how are you feeling hun?” she sighed in relief that he was awake and opening his eyes and talking. He said “Mom, I don’t feel good at all, I’m confused how I got in here..” “You had a seizure at the restaurant, you scared me so bad.” Ben started to tear up. “Where is dad then?” “He couldn’t come. He is too busy at home doing what he does best.” Ben just turned his head away and looked out the window of the hospital. “I just want to get better mom.” She started to cry and said “Everyone want’s you to get better hun.” The doctor came in as he looked away and said “Ben we have some bad news…”
“You had a seizure last night and now your cancer has spread to your lungs and stomach… You are going to die in a couple days, I’m sorry Ben.” All he could think was where is Violet.
