Games are cool and nice and all but there are some video games that are considered ultra violent video games due to the real world type of violence it shows. These games are graphic and do have violence in it, but it isn’t enough to conquer or influence a teen. In other cases, it may conquer or influence a kid because kids have fresh minds, and learn everything in their way. It’s been experimented to see if games do influence but until present day, yet, there’s no proof or evidence. Violent video games may have an affect on children depending on their age. Younger children are more influenced by violent video games than teens.
Violence In Violent Video Games
If close attention is paid to a game there can be distinguished between the violence in it reality, according to news reporter Steven Gruel point of view. There’s series of games called “ Grand Theft Auto “ which is based on the actual theft auto itself. Even though stealing cars isn’t violence, it’s a crime, in this game it forces to actually use violence to manage to steal it. The character would have to kill or brutally beat the driver of the car just to manage to steal it. It’s not only one game but a whole series, which is like eight games total that are continuous. They all involve the opposite of a human being expected behavior law requirements. Researcher Josh Zerhof says that these games would be corruption, killing, dugs, drive-by’s, sexuality, raping, etc.in a game but it’s actually demonstrated in real life by demented people.
Violence & Sexuality
Ultra violent games involve what a teenager isn’t supposed to know until he is mature enough which is SEXUALITY itself. There’s three recognized games that involve sexuality and they are The Sims, Grand Theft Aut...

...d be done and that is, that these games should only be sold to adult and mature teens not kids, because their minds are fresh and innocent and these bad ideas may stick around in their heads for a while. and later in life would make them worse than what they look. As said before it’s not a games fault because remember there’s gangs, cartels, mafias and the most troubled MONEY. Whit out money there’s nothing no crimes no nothing but peace, but the whole world knows that making money is good and think that it wont stop violence from occurring.

Violent video games can lead to aggressive and violent behavior in children and adolescents. “Violent media increase aggression by teaching observers how to aggress, by priming aggressive cognition (including previously learned aggressive scripts and aggressive perceptual schemata), by increasing arousal, or by creating an aggressive state” (Anderson and Bushman 355). As more children are becoming exposed violence in video games in the recent years, violence in schools and other locations where children are prominent has increased. “A national crime victimization survey compiled and maintained by the United States Department of Justice, shows that overall crime rates in United States society have fallen. Simultaneously, school- based studies reveal that many violent behaviors have increased among children and adolescents” (“Causes of School Violence” 1). Exposure to violence in video games can lead to aggressive behavior, desensitization, and an increase in crimes committed by children and teens in our society.
Now a day every video game has something violent going on. Such as in 2010 the top 20 games out in the market were violent related. When a kid sees in a video game that he can beat someone else up and get away with it they think they can do that in real life. This will increase bullying and kids are being taught not to bully. Every kid plays video games even if it’s a racing game or a shooting game. In 2008, 97% of kids from the age of 12-17 played video games. Most M rated games have sexual violence and when a kid sees that in a game and then beats the girl up. The crime rate for rape will increase as it has. A study in 2009 found that it only takes a child four minutes of playing a game to make him have aggressive and violent thoughts going through his head. The critics of violent video game has that bully has increase 32% because of violent video games. Also in the study when a child sees blood when beating up or killing someone in a game he will have more aggressive thoughts than normal.

violent acts (1) were rendered in a way that "[a] reasonable person. considering the game as a whole, would find appeals to a deviant or morbid interest of minors," (2) were "patently offensive to prevailing standards in the community as to what is suitable forminors," and (3) would cause "the game, on the whole, to lackserious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value for minors" (Herard 516). Brown wanted it to be harder for minors to get these violent videogames, and if the game was sold to a min...
Of course, some studies (for example, Anderson & Dill, 2000) appear to show that violent video games can be related to aggressive behavior. However, the confirmation is not reliable and this issue is a long way from settled. Henry Jenkins of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and many other experts have identified that there is a diminished rate of crimes done by adolescents which matches with the popularity of games that are detected as violent, such as, Death Race, Grand Theft Auto, Doom and Mortal Kombat. He presumes that young players can leave the emotional experiences of the video game behind when it is over. Anyway it is reported that there are instances of young people who carry out brutal law violations who likewise invest extraordinary amou...
Video games are one of the most addictive things in the world. Researchers said that more than 1.2 billion people are playing games worldwide whatever genre is. Many people buy it to have fun with friends, other people buy it for themselves, and others just buy it because they don’t have nothing to do at home. What many people concern about is whether or not kids should play video games. In my opinion, I believe that video games can make kids more violent for three main factors.
There are so many violent video games it’s hard to find a game without all the violence. If we don’t change the games our young people then they might not have a future. Some people believe video games keep kids of the streets. People don’t know that video games mold are young people monkey see monkey do most. You put your kid in front of a violent video game they will pick up something from that game if it’s good or not they will learn something from that game. Parents if you’re concerned about what kind of game your kid play then you should check the violence...
Violent video games are undoubtedly a legalized drug to children and teens, numbing their thoughts and reprogramming their minds. Like a drug, it desensitizes them, and makes them more prone to violence. This idea of violent video games was not a phenomenon until the later 20th century, and evolved from racing into enemies, to free-for-all drug abuse and sexual/physical violence that most youth know and play today. These games have a detrimental impact on teens, making them eat more, become more aggressive, and wash away their morality. Although some may try to argue with reality, countering that its helps them socially, similar to the idea of teens taking drugs, violent video games reduce their overall health and need to be taken care of.
It's a surprising fact that 90 percent of young boys and 40 percent of young girls play video games on a regular basis. The real question is how many of those young people play violent video games, and of those, how many have become more violent as a result? Although some people don't believe that violent video games are harmful to young boys and girls, they are harmful because they cause more aggressive behavior and they desensitize.
In recent years, more and more people have disputed the popular sentiment about the violent video games are harmful for teens. Full blood and thunder scene in most violent video games, and moderating the fury and killing scenes in the game, and still some violence tour still plays with horror. Violent games can be sorted into four phases of violence:Violent video games are full aggressive games. It touches the teenager’s daily life.
Since the video games changed dramatically in 1990s, video games have become part of the mainstream of favorite entertainment for children and adults. The violence in video games has caused heated controversy for years over its potential impact on children. The most famous debate has come from the infamous “Grand Theft Auto” game series. In the Grand Auto Theft video game, the players have to kill the police to earn points and become a winner. In the article “Video game violence and our sons,” Rebecca Hagelin claims that the violence in video games contribute to the violent behavior in teenagers. On the other hand, Brandon Nadeau claims in his article “Video Games Do Not Cause Violence” that violent video games do not contribute to the violent behavior in gamers. Although I agree with Nadeau that not everyone who is addicted to play violent video games would become a violent person, I think that children should not be allowed to play violent video games because the violence in video games is strongly related to having more aggressive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors on children.
Video games are a rapidly growing industry. There are nearly two games sold for every household in America each year (Anders 271). The vast majority of these are sold to adults, but there is no national law that prohibits minors from buying violent video games. A few states have legislation pending that will prevent this, but the fact is that minors do have access to violent video games. There is a voluntary rating system implemented by the ESRB, where games are rated based on their content. The games that are rated Mature are not supposed to be sold to anyone under seventeen and Adults Only titles, but “some retailers do not impose such limitations” (Anders 271). The bottom line is that minors do have access to these violent games.
While many different case studies have been done all over the world, scientists have yet to prove that there is a direct correlation between violent video games and child aggression. Since the start of this quarter, this has been an issue that I have been doing extensive research on. Despite looking into several scholarly sources, I was surprised to see that many of my findings were pretty consistent with one another. For the mort part, what I found through my research was a bunch of statistics from case studies and the interpretation of those statistics from renowned scientists. In many cases, statistics and studies showed slight indications that violent video games have an effect on c...
“As video games have become more violent and more sophisticated and the sales of video games has skyrocketed in the last few decades, youth violence has plummeted,” Ferguson says, citing evidence compiled by various federal agencies (Adams 3). Violence in video games is not a new issue. It has been debated and argued since the release of the first violent video game. As time has progressed, so has the evolution of violence and strong language within video games. Ratings have become more relaxed, and the lines between T (Teen) and M (Mature) rated games has gotten closer together. Violent games are becoming the normal and accepted of all games, and are being demanded by the gaming industry more heavily. Parents have always shied away from these games for their children, regardless of age. However, kids are getting these games whether they are the correct age (17+) or not. Young kids, less than ten years of age are playing horribly violent games and parents are fearing the repercussions. But video games are not to be blamed for child violence. Violence in video games does not cause children to become violent people later on in life.
Violent video games are special games, which negatively influences to the attitude and behavior. These video games are popular between children and teenagers. Since 1980-s years violent games are in political discussion. Because when teenagers usually play violent video games, they are becoming aggressive and then they face with psychological problems. For this, some people claim that violent games are harmful for society and they affect to behavior and health.
