E-waste is the term which relates to all types of electronics, which can evolve into waste in the near future. (STEP) Although E-waste is a general term, it can be assumed to cover all types of items which use electricity. Today, electronic waste becomes a very formidable and significant problem around the world. Environmental protection agency contends the idea, that there are 4 most common ways of solving electronic waste problem: landfilling, incinerating, reusing and recycling. This essay will firstly discuss key reasons of e-waste to be a comprehensive problem. This paper will argue, that there are 4 most conventional approaches to solve electronic waste problem and to prove that recycling is the most benefit one.

There are a lot of reasons to electronic waste to be one of the most substantial problems which world faces now. The very first of them is increasing amount of electonics that becomes waste. As it is mentioned at EPA report on management of electronic waste in USA, about 1824.8 tons of e-waste were produced during 2003-2005 years. (EPA, 2007). In addition to it, European environment agency considered, that in 1990s Europe produced about 6.5-7.5 million tons per year, and every year this number increases to approximately 16-28 percents.(European environment agency,2002) Thus, only in Europe and USA about 20 million tons of electronic waste is produced per annum. Therefore, after some years human civilization will face the problem of lacking territory to live.

The further ground of e-waste to be considerable problem is a lot of hazardous and valuable materials, which it consists of. Recent studies conducted by University of Florida proved that electronic waste like cathode ...

Thus, electronic waste problem is a very challenging and complicated problem, because it has hazardous impact to environment. Therefore, it can cause serious diseases among people and can destroy the natural conditions of the Earth. Every year, the amount of e-waste increase and it is necessary to work out this complication. Among a lot of ways of solving it, recycling is the most appropriate and benefit approach, because it is economically profitable due to scarce and valuable materials that can be extracted from old electronics. Also it reduces the amount of e-waste.Therefore, everyone must recycle their old electronics, because the most considerable aim which humanity must achieve is to save Earth environment to future generations.
