“ A family of five was traveling to Florida for a family vacation when the family was suddenly struck between two semi’s. The EMT’s pronounced the whole family dead at the scene earlier that night. Police have yet to release details on what the cause of the accident was but said it was an unexpected incident”, the local news reported said.
Traveling by plane is safer than driving by car for 3 main reasons: pilots go through intensive training, roads have more traffic than the sky, and there are more car crash fatalities per year than deaths caused by plane crashes.
Pilots Go Through Intensive Training
Pilots are professionals at their jobs. When people step into a plane they should feel safe and comfortable. When flying people are putting their life into the pilot's hands. But don’t worry not everyone can just fly a plane. Pilots need to take many classes and fly for many hours with an instructor before they can get the lowest and most basic pilot license. Pilots also need to log so many hours before they can go through the next stage of lessons to get a high ranked licsons. Just to get a private pilots license pilots need to log over 250 hours. Pilots fly many different types of planes to log their hours before they can fly commercial airliners. When they first step foot into a passenger plane they do not take the controls right away. They must go through the stages of being a co-pilots first and build up their experience. Being a co-pilot builds up experience but also gets the pilots comfortable with their surroundings. Pilots must log over 2,000 hours of being a co-pilot and then go through more schooling and training. When you walk into a plane usually the pilot stands by the door and greets his passengers When ...

So the next time people travel long distances they should chose to fly instead of driving. Traveling by plane is safer than driving by car for 3 main reasons: pilots go through intensive training, roads have more traffic than the sky, and there are more car crash fatalities per year than deaths caused by plane crashes. So take action by ditching the wheels and hitting the wings.

On Sunday May06, 2018 at approximately 3:15 p.m. I was traveling through the intersection of Us Highway 19 and ridge Road traveling east when I observed several people standing around a blue in color Toyota two door and a maroon in color Honda civic on the ridge road in the westbound lanes just east of U.S. 19. What appeared to me as a traffic accident.
“In the front seat was Gregg, driving, Sarah, in the middle, and Robyn, on the passenger side. In the rear seat was Jeff, behind the driver, Haley, in the middle, and Rachel, on the passenger side. EVERYONE was wearing their SEAT BELTS, as is our family habit. EVERYONE walked away from this accident with only bruises. The only blood was Robyn had small nicks from glass in a couple of places on her right arm and right leg.
Still in shock and disbelief of what was said, Dominick sent me the News article. Lewis was on his way to Oklahoma City when his truck had ran out of gas. He then decided to cross I-35 highway to Oklahoma City to get to a gas station. By doing that so he was struck by a semi truck and pronounced dead on the scene. It was an unexpected tragity to all of lewis's loved ones.
Many people will not fly because driving is cheaper. Although this is sometimes true, in an article called “Social History :Air Travel: Its Impact on the Way We Live and the Way See Ourselves” it says that in the 1970s and 1980s flights started to drop in price making it affordable for the average person. (“Social History”) After this, planes were not just for the wealthy upper class, but they were affordable for the middle class as well. Before the price of plane tickets dropped in the 1970s, not as many people flew in planes. Although it is true that the number increased tremendously after the price drop, according to “Aviation 1903-1934”, in the 1930s forty-three different airlines were flying around 350,000 passengers annually. (Edelen) Some people might say that cars have had the larger impact on American culture because people started to commute to work every day. Although this is true, planes have also had an impact on jobs. People were now able to travel on a business trip and return in a fraction of the amount of time it would take to drive. (“Social History”) This had an impact in two ways. People were now able to expand businesses even more and they were able to spend more time at home.
Driving is extremely important, because in an emergency situation you could be the only person
People who love to travel to different counties and places of the world, face one big problem, i.e. surviving in airplane till that long period. It gets worse if you have fear of travelling in airplane which is commonly known as ‘aviophobia’ among the homosapiens. Even you don’t have that fear, you have a way long journey to go and test your tolerance ability.
... driving is avoidable. Using cell phone while driving is very dangerous and life risking because drivers would be easily distracted. Using cell phone while driving is unnecessary, unless in emergency situations.
These days, cars are necessary for everyday living. They take us where we need to go. They are the method of transportation for everyday traveling. Road rage is an increasing problem in America. Incidents of violent driving have been rising for many years now. Many people identify themselves by the car they drive, because of this; road rage is only increased. Potential problems should try to be avoided.
most extreme things seem okay to do while driving. The more people feel relaxed in the car the
...ture a risk-taking species. In ancient times we took risks just to eat. Later we took huge risks by setting out in little wooden ships to explore the earth's surface. We continued as we sought to fly, travel faster than the speed of sound and to head off into space. We rely on increasingly more complex equipment and constantly strive to design and manufacture faster and even more elaborate devices. It goes without saying that every effort is made to ensure our "safety"; to keep us from harm or danger. Every time you slide behind the wheel of your vehicle you are taking a risk. Driving is the riskiest activity in our lives. It is an inherently "unsafe" environment. The most perfect vehicles on the best designed highways on beautiful sunny days driven by fallible human beings crash into each other. The only way to drive "safely" (as we are all admonished to do!) is to learn more about the process. Learn more about your vehicle and how to maintain it; learn how to use your eyes to look far down the road; learn to spot problems before they happen; and also learn to deal with emergency situations. In most cases it's the human element that fails. After all, safe is only as safe does.
Cell phones have changed rapidly over the years. One thing is that they have become more of a distraction. People used to just call others, when you wanted to talk to them. Nowadays, people would text someone rather than call them. Truly calling and texting are very dangerous to do while driving. Texting is just more dangerous because drivers take all of their attention away. First, drivers take their eyes away from the road. If something was to run out in front of your vehicle, the driver probably wouldn’t see until it was possibly too late. Second drivers take their hands away from the wheel. If a driver would have to make a drastic turn, they will need both hands. Lastly, drivers take your mind away from the wheel. The driver could easily miss something because they were no longer paying attention. Texting while driving is more dangerous than calling someone but they are still both very risky, and dangerous.
Nobody goes onto the roads with a hope to die, we all want to come home to your families. This will be if we drive safely. Safe driving should come from within us and it is very much possible to prevent the road crushes that are being reported every now and then, occurring from mere destructions (2). Safe
Flying thousands of feet up in the sky is a dream of many young children, but very few actually end up as a pilot when they grow up. Commercial airline pilots will always be needed, but many people do not even think about choosing this as a career. Pilots have extremely important jobs. They must fly people place to place with no problems while at the controls of thousands of pounds of metal and flammable fuel, not to mention the many passengers. A pilot’s job is very risky, but it is also very rewarding.
Lets think about a job that allows you to soar through the air like an eagle, without a care in the world, the job of a pilot is an amazing job that provides you with three things freedom, fully using your sight, and control.
...ood reason that why people use it. In contrast, private cars, it has more flexible, comfortable and more safe although it is also more expensive than public transport, private car is still be a choice for people. These considerably differences between public transport and private car will become to suitable options if people are deciding to choose vehicles for responding their demand in the travel.
