Executive Summery
This case is about the difficulties that people in different parts of the world have gone through with AIDS. From, the infected, families related to the infected, governments investing time and efforts to prevent future AIDS outcomes.
The major problem for us would be, culture and education. It is challenging enough trying to change people’s minds about some matters, especially if they are related to touchy topics like sex and diseases.
Our main recommendation is to invest in sexual education, informing everyone about it. Understanding that, it’s always easier preventing a problem than dealing with it. Teaching children about how mature and responsible a person should be before getting into any sexual activity, thus, many lives can be saved and life quality will rise.

Background

AIDS have become a problem worldwide, millions of people are infected and many others are at risk of contracting it, due to the lack of education in some cases and cultural issues in others. The problematic could change from country to country, and may have several ways to attack it.
People that suffer from this disease have multiple symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, fevers and colds. These are not entirely coming from the virus; AIDS virus weakens the human body to the point in which the human body can’t fight even the smallest bacteria.
Countries like Brazil have implemented the use of social and ethical marketing aggressively, targeting the population with informal advertising, informing about the importance of condom use and how beneficial its protection could be when having sex, all this, being careful of not attacking the population with offensive messages that could go against their religion or culture principles .

Brazil and India were the focus of this case, exposing their problems, some cultural, some educational. Their governments are having some improvements in dealing with the lack of education, approaching to their citizens can be the best way to create awareness among locals and internationals about the risk they could go through when having sexual relationships without a condom, especially if they have different sexual partners.
Money investments have been made in other to stop the advance of AIDS in countries like Brazil. The expenditures in condoms and media can be big, but it saves money in health care. In other terms, preventing the disease is cheaper than treating it.
