The facts table is the center table in the star schema and the surrounding tables (Account, Activity, and Date) are dimensional tables of the Citigroup Payment Data Warehouse. The facts table stores measureable information for investigation and is denormalized to speed up the data retrieval. The facts table works with the surrounded dimension tables by holding the investigative data and the dimension table stores the data the way it is in the fact table, so that it can be analyzed. When constructing fact tables, there are physical and data restrictions. The definitive size of the object as well as access paths should be considered. Adding indexes can help with both. However, from a logical design perspective, there should be no restrictions. Tables should be built based on current and future requirements, guaranteeing that there is as much flexibility as possible built into the scheme to allow for future developments without having to rebuild the data. The next project deliverable is a robust, modernized database and data warehouse design. The company collects large amounts of website data and uses this data to analyze it for the company’s customers. This document will provide an overview of the new data warehouse along with the type of database design that has been selected for the data warehouse. Included in the appendix of this document is a graphical depiction of the logical design of the
Since it is a time-series database, each series stored is tied to a time dimension.

One of the greatest opportunities for Amazon is an Online Payment System. The online system allows the company to reduce transaction fees and increase ease of use for their customers. Internet sales are increasing at a fast pace. This is a product of increased fuel prices, which make driving to a store less likely, and foreign purchases. This development allows foreign purchases to buy clothing as it becomes more popular abroad. Amazon’s biggest competitors can include retail stores that online stores such as Target, Best Buy, and Walmart among others, these can be considered the most dangerous for them since they have strong market share and can be a direct competitor since they attack the same market. Amazon wish to compete in prices, offering

The project scope statement identified in the initiation phase, serves as the main input when estimating the time and duration for a project. Concerning TM it is important to allocate appropriate time to the projects scope, project duration so that cost overruns can be avoided together with penalty clauses and reputation damage.

Project management involves all activities that encompass scheduling, planning, and controlling projects. A successful project manager ensure that an organization’s resources are being used both efficiently and effectively. Most projects need to be uniquely developed require a sense of customization and the ability to adapt to any posed challenges. The scope of effective project management includes defining what the project is and what is being expected to be accomplished. Projects are imposed to fulfill a certain need and project managers must have the ability to create the proper definition. Goals and the means used to attain those goals have to be clearly stated. Project Managers must also have the ability to plan
When planning a new project, how the project will be managed is one of the most important factors. The importance of a managers will determine the success of the project. The success of the project will be determined by how well it is managed. Project management is referred to as the discipline that entails the processes of carefully planning, organizing, controlling, and motivating the organization resources so as to foster and facilitate the achievement of specific established and desired goals and meet the specific criteria of success required in the organization (Larson, 2014). Over the course of this paper I will be discussing and analyzing the importance of project management.
