Description of Two Interesting Careers

There are a numerous number of occupations in the world such as teachers, doctors, engineers, and journalists. In the world there are over 600 careers available to everyone. Each job requires skills and knowledge in order to complete the facing duties.(Bureau of Labor Statistics) The two specific careers that caught my attention are software designer and physician. Like all other jobs, both jobs require a degree and fundamental knowledge of the subject. Software engineers use their imagination to establish new applications and software to support the users. On the other hand, physicians design new research equipment and help to advance and to continue to drive economic engines of the world. The two careers have advantages and disadvantages like any other occupation. Every career needs a preparation ahead of time in order to obtain the occupation you desire. A Scott Pilgrim famous physician once said, “Normal people... believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.” Scientists and software engineers keep searching how they could improve their products. Both careers are captivating how people could keep improving and advancing technology everyday.

Software engineers are similar to scientist who enhance their experiment and aim for perfection. The main role of a software engineer is to produce new applications for the company or construct new operating systems. “Many companies highly demand software engineer and the employment of software engineers has increased about 22% from 2012 to 2020.” (Bureau of Labor Statistics) The employment rate of this career is rising much faster than other occupations.
