Advertising Manager Trying to get the attention of a single person is difficult, but thinking of a way to do it is far more challenging. The people that have mastered this art are considered as advertisers or graphic designers but the one that really helps bring this all together is the advertising manager. As an advertising manager their job is to catch the “interest… of potential buyers.” by helping create advertising “campaigns.” So why did I choose this career? I chose it because of several reasons. First off, I’ve always like the idea with being involved with advertising, but I wanted to be more that just the one to create the graphic designs. I wanted to do something bigger and then these tests came in and guided me to this career. The tests I took were the “COPS,” and the “strong interest inventory,” both had similar results. Both of them said that my top “themes,” were “artistic…business [and] service.” The “Strong,” said that “marketing and advertising,” were one of my top interest areas and in the “COPS,” under “business, professional,” which is one my top scores, there was advertising management. They both gave me advertising, but the management part was new to me. I then decided that this would be the career I would research and through my research I found what these people do, how to get there, salary, the outlook for this job and what else I can do with the degree that can get me that job. Becoming an advertising manger starts with a degree and that simply means putting in more time. The amount of time is actually around four years. There is several types of degrees that could help one actually become an advertising manager. Having a degree in advertising or having a degree in similar fields such as journa... ... middle of paper ... ... of this job is not so bright, but there are still job openings that could help get there. Career counseling over the lifespan has more than an occupational focus, it deals with the person’s entire being with a vision that includes one’s lifespan. Career counseling takes into consideration character development, character skills, life roles, individual life and work history, goals, and obstacles. A career counselor not only assists a client with a career plan, but also with a life plan. This paper focuses on two categories of career counseling. The first focus is the history of career counseling as a field of study with the emphasis on when and why career counseling began (1800s as a study of how the shape of one’s head relates to vocational choice), who and what influenced it (Sizer, Parsons, and Davis), and how it has changed (from an individual/community vocational view to an individual/world lifespan view). The second focus is on the application of career counseling by researching two leaders, John Holland’s and Donald Super’s, contributions to career counseling, their theories and assessments and on the biblical aspects of career counseling and how each theory relates to the Bible.

In spite of the rigors associated with a career in marketing the outlook for the profession is bright. Marketing is a vital necessity not only for business firms, but is also needed and utilized by governments, educational, religious, social service, and nonprofit organizations or institutions. Perhaps the most alluring aspect of a career in marketing is the fact that it provides a great number and variety of job opportunities, and can offer opportunities to both number crunchers as well as intuitive creative people as well.
During my whole life and experience I have been interested in the Art, Creativity, and I have been traveling around Graphics Designing. When I go out to centres, supermarkets, the high streets around Kingston anywhere in London, Germany and other parts of Europe which I have seen. I have seen lots of Graphics designs in advertising, Billboards companies for example in electronical products or any type of product the graphics advertising companies running around the world, just because of that I was inspired in the graphics designing and I was influence by the subject.
