Seasonal color analysis is based on your skin tone, eye color and hair shade. Simply put, your hair is either light or dark. Your skin is either warm or cool. To check your skin hold a piece of paper next to your face in natural light. Close your eyes a moment and look in the mirror. Cool toned people will give the paper a bluish look while warm people will make it yellowish. Light hair is anything from blonde to medium brown and dark is anything darker. Silver is generally cooling and red tones are warming. If you are unsure, try the gold or silver test. If gold suits you, you are warm. If silver, you are cool.

Most people describe cool as someone who is confident, does not care what other people think about them, and has a bit of mystery that people can’t really define. Besides that, people see ‘cool’ people as if their appearance is naturally done without putting effort, it’s like they are quoting Beyonce’s song “I woke up like this”, looking good already even if they haven't done anything. Though most say the phrase ‘cool’, is there such thing as ‘cool people’ or at least ‘cool girl’? Do they really exist or the media only manipulated our minds on creating cool girl? In my opinion, cool girl exist, but it is only a phase that every girl has to deal.
In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Burton continues to show the colorful side of his candy stores and factory while the town is very drab and dull. Also, he uses the same concept in a flashback, showing Wonka sitting in front of a gray house, with a head contraption on his head, trying to eat candy. This shows that Wonka was a past that makes him appreciate the candy more, making him to not want to leave the factory, causing him to become isolated and socially awkward. Also, Burton uses color in Edward Scissorhands. In the movie, there is a scene where Kim is seen in a white dress and walking out to the back yard, only to find Edward cutting an ice sculpture. She is then seen spinning around in the shavings that are in the air. This is supposed to make Kim look angelic with her dress but while you see her spinning, you can see Edward in the background with his black body. This adds to the contrast of characters, Kim is pure and angelic while Edward is dark and mysterious but innocent. Plus, Tim uses color contrast in Alice in Wonderland. While there are many characters that contrast personality wise, only two contrast color wise. The red Queen is always shown in a dark red dress and have pale skin. The White Queen is shown in a white dress and pale skin. Even their houses are contrasting. Red Queen has blood red drapes and carpet while the White Queen has white everything. Naturally, everyone gravitated towards the White Queen for support, making the Red Queen the
Color does affect temperature because different colors have different amounts of energy, which is what causes temperature. Depending on the energy of the color some attract light, which equals heat more than other colors.

The temperature in autumn is the perfect middle of hot and cold; a nice cool wind with lukewarm sunshine. It is the sun is the perfect distance away from the Earth. In summer it is much too hot, sweating heavily even with so little clothing. It tends to make you feel humid and clammy, and the winter weather is much too cold, wearing heavy amounts of thick clothing, and terribly chilled toes. Winter makes me feel claustrophobic with the scarves, and hats. I rather be loose and free. Lighter jackets, or maybe only a loose soft sweater, or long sleeved shirt to keep out the light chilled air in Fall. Even spring makes you feel miserable with allergies, the sudden heat after winter. Fall is the slow transfer back into winter.
Mood. Colors affect our mood. It is said that warm colors tend to evoke feelings such as happiness, stimulation, motivation, and even aggression. Meanwhile, cool colors tend to evoke feelings such as sadness, tiredness, relaxation, and calmness. The participants will explain how a color affected their mood (See appendix B).
