1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND
PROGRAM INFORMATION SYSTEM MANAGEMENT IN UiTM
Bachelor of Science Information System Management (Hons) is the program that recognizes information as a strategic resource. It is designed to educate and train students with knowledge and skills in managing information. It involves analyzing, designing, developing, and managing various types of information systems for identifying, acquiring, organizing, storing, and retrieving as well as disseminating information for users' strategic and competitive purposes.

PROGRAM INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BIT) IN INTERNATIONAL
ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA (IIUM)
Bachelor of Information Technology program is focused towards providing in-depth and up-to-date knowledge in major areas of Information Technology to the students. This program will provide a course of study for students who want to understand information systems from a technological perspective, the organizational contexts in which these systems are developed and the business environments which determine how the systems can be used to create value. It provides an excellent preparation for graduates seeking a challenging and rewarding career in this field, offering a high level of knowledge and skills in both IT and management.

1.2 DEFINITION OF TERM
The term of Information Systems Management (ISM) in UiTM side is the process of managing the various type of system that is involved identifying, acquiring, organizing and storing the system itself in supporting the business in private and public sector. 3.2 RATIONALE
In achieving the international standard learning, both universities can update the courses frequently which are following the international standard of their courses. This can be follow in term of the reference book or manual. Both universities must inform student which relevant book they can refer for every courses.
