Hinduism and Christianity are two religions that have been around for thousands of years. Both of these religions have developed many philosophies on different aspects that can be compared to show their similarities and differences. The Hindu and Christian religion agree on many things. Based on humanity, our society follows some of the rules also because of the religion and laws. From the holy literature, there have been many different concepts that have been pledged but they all are supposed to lead you to the same effects such as a happy, healthy life, contribution to the world around us humans, and some kind of freedom after death. Some of the main subjects that can be reflected upon after learning of the history and fundamentals of these religions are the paths to enlightenment and/or salvation, the style of treating women through religions aspects, and the afterlife. This paper will give an analytic comparison of these two religions relating to the topics.

One of the most important elements in history is religions. The Hindu religion arguably began around 2,500 years before the Common Era (B.C.E.) in India. It was geographically based along the Indus River, which was called “Hindu” which the Persians named when they migrated to India. They also called the land Hindustan and its residents, Hindus. After that, the religion that had followed was called Hinduism. Today, almost around 800 million people practice the Hindu religion around the world.

...tual books are by unknown authors that only want to expand the groundwork of the religion. Because Hinduism was considered a way of life before it was a religion, many people did accept the doctrine and contributed to it. However, in Christianity, the books were all submitted by different people from different times. People would have no way of contacting Jesus or his followers but yet their work is still considered to be very significant. What people can bathe about is which that the most confusing thing about the Bible is that not a single word came from the hand of Jesus himself. The only problem is that Jesus can basically be made to do whatever people want him to do through the use of history. The routes to enlightenment and/or salvation are very different in their method because of the application of duty in, on and the complete lack of it within each other.
