This report will first examine the Testing Process Summary. Secondly, the installation process and training plan summary will be identified. For this portion of the writing, a Gantt chart will be used to identify the steps and related resources needed to implement the system. A narrative explanation that will discuss the impacts of time and conversion will be included. A description of the training plan will also be outlined. The third section of this writing will summarize the company documentation plan. This will include the identification and explanation of all forms of documentation used throughout the project. This plan will outline the chosen software, hardware and networks in regards to the responsibilities of each area. Testing Process Summary
Testing is a required portion of the implementation phase. It is useful in ensuring a quality system is installed. A well-defined plan, known as a Master Test Plan (University of Phoenix, 2002, section 4), should be developed to make sure all system attributes have been tested. Woodhaven is trying to establish a quarterly review of authorized user for our Woodhaven FoxPro Payroll Application. My understanding is the user information is embedded in the source code for this application. As a matter of control, I would like to set up a quarter user review for this application, but to do so, I need someone in IT Security to access the code and provide a list of authorized user. Furthermore, if necessary, IT Security would need the ability to make the necessary code charges. As of now, I will be responsible for performing the review.
The cost to set up the system (hardware, software, setup, maintaining, training, IT support and updates to the system) are extremely high. With this in mind, a small doctors’ practice cannot afford to pay for the complete system.
Any project that strives to be a success has to have adequate planning as well as the proper resources in place. In order for the system implementation process to progress smoothly there must be several resources in place which include human, hardware, software, technical, and financial. When Brewton Enterprises’ system has begun the startup process the most important of these resources during this time period will be hardware, software, technical, and financial.

The systems planning phase is the first phase completed in the SDLC. It encompasses evaluating the feasibility and the cost of the system, identifying the risks involved with implementing the system, and determining the responsibilities of each of the team members. To begin the planning phase, a systems request is submitted to the IT department, detailing the problems and changes to be made in a system. (Rosenblatt, 2014). It is important to note that the request may be a large, significant request, or it can be a smaller, more minor request; however, each request should be addressed using the systems development life cycle. After the request has been made, a feasibility study is conducted that determines the costs and benefits of the new or improved system. The study then recommends a strategy that is best for the system in terms of technical, monetary, and time factors.
Effectively integrating information technology (IT) into an organization’s business processes is critical if the organization wants to increase productivity and remain profitable. IT includes items such as the systems software, application software, computer hardware, and the networks and databases that help manage the organization’s information. When implementing quality standards and processes that are forever changing in the IT world, organizations must balance these changes while continuing to rapidly implement new systems technologies in order to stay competitive.
