The Cell Phone Has Come a Long Way since Its Origins

The first mobile cell phone was released by Motorola in the year 1973 although it was not technically a mobile phone,. They were two-way radios that allowed people to communicate. This was important because it did not have to rely on base stations with separate cells, the first mobile phone network involved a powerful base station covering a much wider area. There are many people who say they cannot live without, let alone, think about not having a cell phone in their lives. Cell phone are a big part of our society today because of how much people rely on them in their everyday lives. It is rare nowadays to hear someone say that they do not have any type of cell phone. Ninety-one percent of Americans in America have some type of cell phone.
There are many families who do not have a house phones, but instead, invest in cell phones for each individual family member. A lot of people's cell phones have consumed their lives so much that sixty six percent of people said that they would take their mobile device to work over their lunch. This shows that the mobile cell phone has gained a lot of importance in society. Also, sixty five percent of adults said that their mobile device make them better parents. Out of all the age groups, the eighteen to twenty nine age group was the group that had the most cell phone usage. This is the age group that does the most web browsing.
Some as young as middle school ages have smart phones. Since the first cell phone made in 1973, cell phones have evolved drastically based on new technology advancements discovered by scientists and engineers and the lives people live nowadays.
