The causes of economic instability, political tension, religious and ethnic conflict, migration and or the mobility of people
What are the causes and effects of people migrating?
Introducing the issue and its context (social, economic, natural and built environment)
The social culture of migration is that while more and more people move away from their community or country the culture will certainly become weak the factor of this is that it can lead to tension between local people and immigrants that can cause accidents and violence between people. But also on the other hand it can have a better improved effect on their educational lives which will give them the best opportunities in the future. Having better medical services, this can treat them and help them get better. The desire to join and have better connections with their families and friends, this can have a huge effect as they are now closer to their families and friends.
The economics of migration is that it can be bad for businesses as the economic factor of migration is that most of the strongest and heavy- duty workers or people with intelligences leave or move out which can then leave the business in many problems as they may have to look for new workers which can be time consuming something that they might not have time for. But on the other hand the source of this is that they can improve on their job career to live a better future. Improving on their living and the environment around them is better because it is much safer.
The natural built environment of migration is as more and more people move away from their country and community the culture will predictably become weak the environmental factor of this is that it can leave the environment under used or w...

Migrants have been the heart of building Australia into a strong economy. Migrants in modern Australia create jobs and business opportunities and continue to add to the rich social and cultural fabric of Australian society. Business Skills migrants create on average six new jobs and invest millions of dollars into the economy. They have brought new ideas and new technology to the areas of medicine, science, information technology, mining, primary industry and business. Their familiarity with different cultures, languages and lifestyles as well as how overseas business works has helped local companies compete in Australia and overseas. The current Migration Program is balanced and targeted to meet our economic, environmental and international objectives.
Rwanda and DRCongo are two examples of conflicts that were causes of conflict-induced, forced migration.Conflict-induced displacement, a type of forced migration, is when people are forced to leave their region, because of violence, armed conflict, and/or discrimination of religion, race, social group or political opinion. Both of the countries mentioned have similarities and differences between the causes of unrest, and the long term and short term causes of the conflict.
Immigration has undergone much change since the 20th century. However, a lot of the motives behind immigration and adaptation to a new culture and way of life have remained the same.
Immigration to a developed country has a lot of problem associated with it. In particular, United States has not been spared of these problems according to many experts (Massey et al. 53). On my view, though there is a positive inclination towards immigration that people tend to overlook. Firstly, there are the cultural differences; many people migrating to this country are from different localities. The ethnical perspective of these people is nearly incompatible. This incompatibility leads to exchange of the aspects of the two cultures hence enrichment of the untied states culture. This is a positive impact to of immigration. If the new people were just visiting and going back to where they came from, then such exchange could not have happened, therefore, after all immigration is not only a negative aspect in ...
This essay will define and explain the term migration and then discuss and examine emigration and circulation as well as arrivals. Further its going present some qualitative and quantitative evidence from the book “Understanding Social Lives” and the online module strands to support the claim.
Some people may find migration to not be such a good thing because it takes up lots more jobs, migrants could be exploited, the sudden increase in population could put a lot of pressure on public services ,and ease of movement may increase organised crime and people trafficking. Some people also think that migration is good because host countries are enriched by cultural diversity, economic growth can be upheld, and failing schools can be transformed because of the migrants seeking education.
Secondly, there are various disadvantages of immigration for countries like overpopulation, illegal immigration, brain- drain and impact on labor market. In today’s globalized era, most of the well educated people move to other country for better wages, better atmosphere as well as good accommodation. Moreover, it’s a big threat to their origin gradually they lose professional work
On the other hand, migration can provide some negative impacts. One of them is unemployment of native population. As it was said before, foreign-born are more profitable for employers; therefore they have bigger chance to receive the workplace than native people. From 1997 to 2006 the UK-b...
Immigration has been a topic that has caused multiple discussions on why people migrate from one country to another, also how it affects both the migraters and the lands they go. Immigration is the movement from one location to another to live there permanently. This topic has been usually been associated with sociology to better explain how it affects people, cultures and societies. Sociology has three forms of thinking that are used to describe and analyze this topic. There are three forms of thinking that are used to tell and describe immigration to society; structural functionalist, symbolic interactionist, and conflict theory. Each of these theories uses different forms of thinking and rationality to describe and explain socio topics.
Economically, immigrants greatly boost an economy by providing new job outlets, more money to companies, and reducing the unemployment rate. A large influx of immigrants will help many companies because of supply and demand, more people equals more needs to be provided. With the average immigrant worker working at lower wages, immigrants reduce the amount of money a company loses when paying their employees. A writer at The Fiscal Times connects this idea by claiming, “Without the immigrant labor, prices consumers pay for hotels and restaurants would be substantially higher (Furchgott-Roth).” Other than keeping vacations and dinners cheaper, immigration has yielded great results in the field of education. With a majority of immigrants relocating with their family or having a family in the new country, it is highly likely for them to send their offspring to school so that they can have a good education. This bodes well for the high school and/or college they attend because the children increase the graduation rate, which is one of many factors people use to determine how good a school is. Once acquiring a higher education, many of them will decide to open up their own business or wander into the job market. The former option has yielded excellent results for the United States, with immigrants owning almost one in five of the small businesses in America (Bass). The latter keeps a
If I we are talking about positive and negative aspects of immigration we can look at it from two sides: The pros and cons from the point of view of the people who are immigrating and from the point of the host country and people living in it. There are a lot of reasons why people decide to leave their home country and move abroad. This decision is accompanied with many risks, there is no certainty when you are going to an unknown land, you can never be sure what to expect. In my opinion the possible gain from moving has to be bigger than the risk that immigrants are undertaking. They have to consider all the possibilities and the outcome is that this is the best choice or the only possible choice, if they want to survive or have fulfilling life. The chance for improving the living conditions is better possibility than the current state.
The rate of unemployment gets reduced and young migrants enhance their life prospects by immigrating to the
Immigration for some is a very difficult and stressful process. One of the main reasons for immigration is poverty, coming from a third world country, people want to improve their lifestyle and their economy, high expectation to get higher salaries. War is also one of the reasons, it is in some countries very dangerous and this does not grant the opportunity for civilians to have a stable lifestyle, full of security and protection. Immigration brings a lot of beneficial things to the country.
The central topic of the Migration, Cultural Bereavement, and Cultural Identity article is about how different cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds reacted during the process of migration. Because this movement had been going on for decades, Dinesh Bhugara and Matthew A Becker had decided to investigate different aspects of how do migrants react after deciding to take the journey for a new beginning? These are some of the questions the were raised about migration, and with the help of many psychologists and biologists from different universities all over the world, hopefully some of the questions can be answered like, what are the three stages of migration? What are the
Nowadays, Immigration, which is a phenomenon of migration, is very normal and popular in the world. Furthermore, in the world, many countries have the large number of people who immigrate because of many reasons likes finding suitable jobs or new place to live. Many people think that immigrants will give them many problems about the economy and society. However, other people think that immigrants bring many profits for their countries. In my opinion, I think that all things have both good and bad sides and immigration is no exception. In the other hand, I think that immigrations will give the host countries more economic benefits than limitations.
