Are you a teenager who can’t wait to work? When you get older you’re going to wish that you would have waited and would have just enjoyed your childhood until it was time to really get a job like everybody else. Most teenagers can’t wait to get a job.
They can’t wait to get money and show how independent they are. What they didn't know was that having a job could lead to more than any amount of income. Jobs lead to stress and stress leads to abuse. One of the abuses that stress cause from jobs can lead to is alcohol abuse. (Right, “ Adult Alcohol Abuse Standards” July, 4th, 2013)
When you are stressed you’re usually angry because of the problems at your job that you’re unable to solve. To some people alcohol keeps the pain away. It’s a way for them to get away from all of their problems. But when you’re drinking becomes out of control that's when things get messy. Abuse can lead to having PTSD ( Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). PTSD can occur from traumatic events that have happened in someone’s life. Unemployment can also lead to other types of abuse.
When you don't have a job and you've been trying to find one for months your emotions begin to run wild. Some people take it out on their selves or worse on other people. In the 1930s, the Great Depression took a real hit on many people’s lives. Because of WWI, the unemployment rates had risen 25%. People couldn't pay for education, food, and more. It was so bad that many people committed suicide (Sutton, Bettye. “1930-1939’ American Cultural History. Lone Star College-Kingwood Library, 1999. Web. 7 Feb. 2011.).

People struggle with paying bills all the time. Adding work stress can make their situations even worse. Work related stress is something that people have. Its their job to make sure that it does not lead to any of these horrible outcomes.
