There are a lot of careers that involve the use of CADD. There are drafters that create the drawings and blueprints that are used on a project. There are many people that use them to complete projects. Civil Engineers and Architects are two examples of people that use blueprints to complete projects. It is a program that can open up doors and help you make a decent salary.
CADD Drafters are the people that use CADD to create drawings. They can work with many people. They will work along side all types of engineers and architects to get their ideas into blueprints or other types of drawings to make the project easier. A CADD Drafter is defined as a proffessional trained to produce techinical drawings, documents, or plans using computer systems and software ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). The software they use most often is CADD. Most CADD Drafters have at least an Associates Degree. They learn and maintain a lot of skills in those two or more years they are in school. They became excellent at drawing and using the computer so they can operate their software like CADD ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). They learn plenty of drafting techniques that allow their drawings to look more realistic and make drawing easier ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). In those two years they will have to gain some knowledge of science and engineering so they can relate to the people they are working with ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). They make a decent salary and only go to school for two years.
A drafter’s salary depends on how much experience they have in the field. It will also depend on what type of drafter they are. They can be an electrical, mechanical, or just a regular drafter. The salary will also depend on who they work for. Some compani...

Ever since I could go with my dad in the tractors and equipment on the ranch, I knew I wanted to be a part of its operation. I have always been fascinated with the operations of diesel engine and much of a valuable asset they are to our world today. I helped out on the ranch whenever I could driving equipment. In the summer time it was my job to operate the swather. I really enjoyed operating it as much as I enjoyed fixing it when it broke down. When it came time to go to college the decision for a major was pretty clear. This is my second year in college in the diesel program and I really enjoy it. I have learned a lot about diesels and the field and this is what I want to do.
...anager comes in as an enforcer. Subsequently if the client is looking to have more of an input in the construction and allow it to develop or mature over the course of the construction, a member of the design team will be employed to make the design changes either where necessary or where the client has had a change of heart. The member of the design team will also have the ability to ensure the contractor is fully aware of where all the design risks lie over the course of the construction.
The process starts with a concept or idea.(Mashable) The first stage of 3D printing is planning out this concept with either computer aided design or animation modeling software. There are tons of programs out there today with these capabilities. Google SketchUp for example is known for being easy to use.(3ders) Using some easy tools that can be learned quickly, edges and faces can come together to make very intricate models. It can even be used with Google Earth. All those models of the world in that software are made in what is basically the same process digitally. Blender is the free 3D creation program that exists for the needs of major operating systems.(3ders) It is a high end software containing features that are much more capable than Google SketchUp. Tinkercad is a newer way of creating designs for 3D printers and works slightly faster than the others.(3ders) Containing only three simple tools, it’s effectiveness for creating models is among the best..
Adopting the latest technology helps firms to gain advantage in the competitive environment. It is important to adopt new tools in order to improve the quality of work and reduce the risks associated with the work. Implementation of a new process or a tool is often cumbersome for the companies but with proper planning and resources in hand and the zeal to accept innovation, companies grow technically and technologically. In the AEC field, we saw many firms still hand drafting 20 or more years after CAD became the new drafting standard in the mid-1980s. The pressure to switch often came from colleagues and collaborators and became necessary as firms using CAD no longer found it viable to work with firms still hand-drafting (Epstein, 2012). Similar is the case today where the incorporation of BIM is becoming popular amongst the organizations. In order to stay afloat, companies must implement the use of BIM.

I interviewed Eric Kriemelmeyer, the owner of FASTSIGNS Waldorf (11750 S Business Park Rd Ste 105, Waldorf, MD 20601, (301) 392-1131). Graphic designers are visual communicators. They design and develop print and electronic media for consumers and businesses. They may be employed by advertising agencies, design companies, publishers and other businesses that need design professionals. To become successful in the graphic design industry, you need to have at leasr a bachelors degree and years of experierience, you need to have creativity, computer skills, detail oriented, and artistic abilities. Graphic designers often gain their initial experience through internships which provide opportunities to work with designers and experience the design

This computer control describes CNC Machining and stands for “Computer Numeric Control”. This simply means that a computer will convert a design of a part to be produced from Computer-Aided Design software (CAD), into numbers (G-code). These numbers are then deemed as coordinates on a graph that will precisely control the movement of a cutter. So during production of either a Mill or Lathe, the computer controls the cutting and shaping of material.
Art and design are huge aspects of life today, and it influences everyone. Whether we realize it or not, there are signs all around us of trained professionals from art-related industries (Hennessey). Art and design careers can take forms that many people may not have thought about: people with art and design degrees find work in nearly every industry imaginable, in roles that didn’t even exist ten or fifteen years ago (“Art and Design Careers”). Industries and related careers are constantly expanding, providing art and design students with new opportunities. Possibilities for art and design careers are nearly infinite, and and they’re always growing.
Digital fabrication is coming into the construction industry to create precisely crafted and complex buildings in response to the new competitive environment and construction market demands. Thanks to advanced technology, the good revolution can be seen in most industrial activities. Almost all of the industry sectors are trying to keep themselves up to date with new related innovation to boost their sustainable growth. However, unfortunately architects and construction engineers have been more conservative despite all of the massive global investment in the construction sector. This conservative trend was started many years after great prosperity and success in the other industries. As an example, in comparison with the more developed automotive industry, the construction industry has been weighing the pros and cons of doing automation, and it is still under development. Despite some limitations and lack of information over the 80’s and even 90’s, but the current status indicates good progress. Today, most of architectural design is no longer possible without computer technologies. The models have become more complex and require advanced tools to understand design codes and implement fabrication processes. It can be said, that the advanced automated tools with a user-friendly programming system can bring incredible solutions for architects and construction engineers. Many researchers have made significant studies to consider all possibilities and limitations of digital design-construction in various types of procedures.
...that promotes innovation in the framework of traditional construction practices, by integrating abilities of Building Information Management models. In addition, I am interested on researching the impacts of advanced digital modelling technologies on construction management practices, since I believe in the emerging world of digital architecture; where robotic-arms and machinery replace human resources; construction management is in need of a more sensitive approach.
The benefits of being a computer engineer are unique to those people who like having challenges put in-front of them to solve. This job puts you in challenging positions that you have to problem solve to get out of. Also computer engineers have the ability to fix or even their own computers. Computer engineers get paid vacations, holidays, and sick days.
Imagine designing a dream home with all the color and space conceivable. This illustrates the work of an interior designer. A "schemer, intriguer, or plotter," could prosper in a career of design (dictionary.com, 'designer'). A career in interior design allows innate abilities of creativity and organization to be practiced in satisfying a client's desire for style and flare in their home or workplace.
