Computer hardware, it’s a fascinating topic if you think about it, a simple combination of complex metals all working together in perfect sequence to create a unique one of a kind experience. But this kind of innovation and intricacy does not just simply happen, it takes a special kind of professional to create, maintain, and innovate in this field of engineering. A computer hardware engineer is a type of engineer that specializes in electronic systems, robotics, and computer hardware.
Of course like all more advanced jobs being a computer hardware engineer does require a college education within the proper field of classes. An entry level job within the computer hardware engineering world usually requires a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, but in some cases a degree in electronics will be accepted. Many colleges offer computer engineering courses for example, Massachusetts institute of technology, Stanford University, & Georgia technical institute. These schools only make up a small percentage of colleges within America that offer computer engineering courses, but there are also colleges abroad outside of America that offer computer schooling. High schools also offer a variety of technology classes to prepare students for electronics classes in college. Introduction to engineer design & concepts of engineer are two very good examples of classes offered by public schools to prepare students for careers in the computer hardware engineering field.

In conclusion computer hardware engineers primary focus in their field is the design, creation, installation, and maintaining of complex computers and industrial scale machines in the modern world. The education required is normally a bachelor’s degree for entry level jobs in the career, and must be in a valid major. They usually work 40 hour work weeks and make roughly and average of 50 dollars in our or 100,000 dollars a year. The career future for computer hardware engineers looks bright as the demand for new electronics is always on a constant rise, although this does require constant retraining in order to keep up with modern technology. Not to be confused with software engineering the main duty of a computer hardware engineer is the more physical side of technology not internal programs.
