Borderline personality disorder is an illness that is believed to be the suicidal cause of Marilyn Monroe. The darkness of Marilyn’s childhood have significantly influenced her adult life. Marilyn Monroe’s life seemed to most of people around the world like she was a happy lady who succeeded in different fields as an actress, model, singer, and film producer. Through her beauty, character, and sexual boldness, people consider her as the most famous figure in her area, which cause her celebrity to pass on after her death through generations since 1962 until now. On the other hand, the dark side of the sadness, insecurity, and loneliness of Marilyn’s life did not show up until her death, which caused many controversial questions.
It believed that Marilyn Monroe had an illness called Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). It is a mental health disorder which leads a person to emotional instability. This can cause different kinds of mental and behavioral problems. With borderline personality disorder, patient usually feel unsatisfied with the way they look, and feel worthless, significantly blemished, angry, reckless, and have variable moods, which might cause people stay away from that person. People with this kind of this disorder have a hard time to realize reality and have wrong ideas that goes through their mind. It might seem as if they have delusion disorder but it is more of their overwhelming emotions and their cognitive function. These unstable emotions are associated with borderline personality disorder, which leads to many different symptoms that might separate a patient from reality. ...tom cause a patient to feel unsupported, worthless, and lost in the margins his or her society. As we mentioned earlier that Marilyn felt these emotions since her childhood. Whereas, she never knew her biological father and she was mixed with three surnames. Also, she did not find anybody who makes her feeling of auspices mother whom child need. These horrific experiences of Marilyn’s life have shaped her suicidal behaviors. Whereas, attempted suicide twice and ended up to have all the opportunities and reasons to commit suicide when she was fired from her last uncompleted movie “Something’s Has to Give” because of frequent late and absences. She had no family to look for neither friend who turned out of using her. Marilyn’s environment have shaped the ugliness picture of her life, which contained an innocent pure personality (Marilyn Monroe beyond the legend, 1986)
