Introduction
Lou Ferrigno, a Bodybuilder an actor and a fitness trainer. He has become an inspiration to bodybuilders around the world. Lou Competed for many years and is one of the most popular bodybuilders of all time. He is known for his acting as the incredible hulk in the CBS television show. He overcame his hearing loss and used it to push himself to become a superstar. Lou still continues to affect the world of bodybuilding by training people in fitness and health.
Biography
Louis Jude Ferrigno was born November 19th 1951(Lou Ferrigno). As a child Lou Ferrigno lost the majority of his hearing around 75-80% of it (Lou Ferrigno). This was not diagnosed till the age of three. He did not allow this to hold him back from achieving greatness. Lou Ferrigno is one of the two most recognized bodybuilders of this generation. He has won numerous bodybuilding competitions and has acted and voiced in dozens of movies and television broadcasts. He became an American icon when he received the part as the Incredible Hulk in the CBS television broadcast. Lou Ferrigno had started to train with the barbell at the age of thirteen (Lou Ferrigno). Since a teenager he has looked up to two people, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steve Reeves, who was the original Hercules, a role Lou would later play himself. In order to support his bodybuilding career he had to work in a metal factory. Due to the increasingly hazardous conditions his coworker had a serious injury that forced him to have his hand amputated (Lou Ferrigno). After this incident Lou went on to find a new means of support.
In 1971 Lou entered his first contest, Pro Mr. America (Bodybuilding). Standing at six foot five inches and weighing two hundred and eighty five pounds Lou Ferrigno...

Acting
Lou Ferrigno had begun his Filming career in the CBS television show the incredible hulk. He had won this role over a fellow bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger. He had become widely known as the green skinned goliath. Lou Ferrigno pursued the art of acting for seventeen years. During this time he had done multiple films of European fantasy films. He had taken the role of his idol as Hercules in the 1983 film. He had played Sinbad in the 1989 movie “Sinbad and The Seven Seas”. Lou Ferrigno went on to voice the hulk when he had been replaced by CGI version of the hulk. He has been the voice of The Incredible Hulk up to the block buster hit “The Avengers”. Lou Didn’t let his hearing loss affect his acting; it in fact helped him when playing the hulk because he was better at facial expressions.
