William Shakespeare was born on April 23rd 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and died on April 23rd 1616; he was 52 years old when he died and was buried in the Stratford church. His father was John Shakespeare and died in 1601; his mom was Mary Arden and died in 1608. He married to Anne Hathaway the daughter of a farmer. They got three children: Susanna who was born on 1583 and two twins a boy which is Hammet and a girl which is Judith. Susanna was the eldest child and she didn’t have any education, she married John Hall in 1607 and they got one daughter and named her Elizabeth. Hammet was the only son of William Shakespeare, he died at age eleven and the cause was unknown. Judith is the youngest daughter of William Shakespeare and she married Thomas Quiney and had three children.
Shakespeare went to London between 1585 and 1592 and began to establish himself as an actor and playwright and his plays were performed only by the Lord Chamberlain’s Men and later the name was changed to King’s Men. Between 1589 and 1592 Shakespeare established his career and begins to make a name for him. They built their own theatre across the Thames, south of London, which they called "The Globe", the globe was built by 1599. In 1597 he purchased the second largest house in Stratford which he called New Place. William Shakespeare wrote a series of popular stage plays. Manny of his work including “Romeo and Juliet” and “Macbeth” are still read and performed around the world, and some doubts are there about if someone used to write the plays and poets for him. William Shakespeare’s name became a selling point.

The First Folio was published by John Heminge and Henry Condell in 1623 and it contains thirty-six plays although many of the plays were already in the quarto. The Foil was created after seven years of William’s death. The thirty-six plays of the First Folio occur in an order, the order is: first the comedies, second the histories, and last the tragedies. The Folio includes all of Shakespeare’s plays except of Pericles, Prince of Tyre, and The Two Noble Kinsmen, and two "lost plays" which are Cardenio and Love's Labour's Won.

Shakespeare was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon. Shakespeare’s father was an alderman, therefore Shakespeare did not attend any special schools or colleges. Shakespeare went to public schools. There are official documentation such as church and court records providing that Shakespeare was “real”. Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway on November 28th, 1582, in Worcester, in Canterbury Province. Their first child, a girl named Susanna, born May 26th, 1583. Two year later, on February 2th, 1585, twins Hamnet and Judith were born. Hamnet later then died of unknown causes at age eleven.

William Shakespeare was born in the year 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is in the United Kingdom. William was the third born child in the Shakespeare family, son to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden, and brother to Gilbert, Richard, Edmund, Joan and Judith. William’s father, John, was a successful merchant, however WIlliam’s birth seemed to impoverish the family, with John’s wealth decreased by a substantial amount. William attended a school for the underprivileged and received a basic education. By 1592, William had begun his career as actor and playwright and had his first few performances published. By 1597, he had 17 more of his plays published as public performances. By this time, Shakespeare was known as one of the richest people in England, as he bought the second largest house in Stratford-upon-Avon. In 1599, Shakespeare and his group built their own theatre near the Thames river. They decided to call the theatre The ‘Globe’. Shakespeare’s first plays performed at ‘The Globe’ were Richard II,Henry VI parts 1,2 and 3. These plays were all Histories and comedies and he did not begin to make tragedies until 1600. Shakespeare’s later plays, before his death were called tragicomedies. These, as from the title, were tragedies involved with some humour.

Edmund (1580-1607), sixth in the line was baptized on May the third, 1580 and William's oldest living sister was Joan who outlived her famous playwright brother. Of William's seven siblings, only Judith and four of his brothers survived to adulthood.

His son, Hamnet, died at the age of eleven and their oldest daughter married a Stratford doctor and had a baby girl named Elizabeth. Judith ended up marrying a vinter from Stratford, Thomas Quiney. Few months earlier Shakespeare died, the family thereafter died out, leaving nothing behind of Shakespeare.
