Arnold Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947 in the town of Thal in Austria. He was birthed into the family of Gustav Schwarzenegger his father, Aurelia Jadrny his mother, and Meinhard Arnold’s older brother, and this was not an easy house to live in. Both of Arnold’s parents were extremely strict on him as a child. If Schwarzenegger or his brother were to step out of line his parents would not hold back on the punishment. Some would even go as far as to call it child abuse. It was just they way it was done in their culture though so no one thought bad of it. It was all to make their children into people who would fit into their culture and would go on to live the life their parents wanted them to live. Due to Schwarzenegger’s drive to be his own self he would rebel to show his parents that they will not make him conform into the person that they want him to be. That is where it all started for Schwarzenegger. He wanted to live a better life, one without poverty, without conformists, and one where he can live his dreams. Se he decided to start with the sport of bodybuilding that does not have a lot of popularity and become the best in the history of that sport. Arnold Schwarzenegger has accomplished a tremendous amount in his lifetime and it all started when he was a kid wanting to move out of his house and live the kind of life that he wanted to live. Not the life he was being forced to live. He shows us multiple times that he constantly has to improve himself in anyway possible. That he is never satisfied with what he has already done. From him giving up his first love, bodybuilding, to move into the movie industry, then take a more serious note and try and help the state of California. It is inspiring and motivation to see what this man has accomplished in his life. It only makes me think what am I doing with my life.
