Bill Gates was a very intelligent man since he was young; one of his teacher said, “Gates was always a math whiz” ("Bill Gates “1955 - )"). Gates is very important in the computer world. He is the inventor of the entire Microsoft systems. Gates is also the creator of all of the Windows programs that are on computers. Bill Gates was born into a wealthy family and became one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time as he created Microsoft.
Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955. He was born into a very wealthy family and from the beginning; Gates’s family was always interested in business and politics. Gates’s great grandfather was even the mayor at one time. His grandfather, William Gates II, was the vice president of the National Bank. His father was a defensive lawyer and his mother was a school teacher. When Gates was a younger kid, he always enjoyed riding bike and hanging out with friends. Gates even had a paper route so he was able to make money while he was young (Gates). Gates was always a very smart kid but he was also a big trouble maker, which made his parents worried about his schooling. So, his father wanted him to go to the Lakeside private school and to this, Gates said, "I seriously considered flunking the entrance exam," (Gates Biography). The exam was required in order to get into the Lakeside Private school. After Gates had passed the exam everything in his life started to turn around; he was able to keep good grades and started being a very good student in school. 2014 Gates stepped down as the CEO of Microsoft. Gates is still the Richest Person in the world with a Net worth of 67 Billion Dollars. Carlos Slim of Mexico was the leading richest person in the world for many years.

After having helped found what would be the world’s most popular and largest software company in 1975, Bill Gates officially found himself to be the richest man alive at the ripe, young age of only thirty-one. Gates had never imagined that the thirteen year old boy who loved to program computers in his parent’s garage would one day find himself to be considered the world’s wealthiest man alive, having a total net worth of $76 billion. Having began on his own, tinkering with computers and computer software, Gates later created the seed of Microsoft, or what was originally called Traf-O-Data in the summer of 1972. (Fast Facts) It wasn’t until two years later, with the help of his co-founder, Paul Allen that Microsoft was born, transforming the technological world in ways that the people had never seen. The birth of Microsoft changed the ways of old computers, making way for faster newer and more innovative technology, along with bringing on a strong competition with their rival company, Apple Inc. With this grand cooperation, Bill Gates was also accumulating a large mass of money, gradually finding himself to top the charts of the Forbes World Billionaires List. Throughout the history of the world there have been revolutions, martyrs, and innovations that have changed the course of mankind. As history has proven, one person can have an effect on many, one action can excite anything, and one invention can change the whole world. In the case of the developing world of technology, many tried, but only a few could get a stake in the fast moving industry and throughout it all one name has stamped their name on the PC business, Microsoft.
Bill Gates is a genius. He is the founder of Windows and is one of the richest people in the world. He created some of the first computer operating systems and is a pioneer of the technological world. He has created a computing empire and is still working to improve the world. He not only is rich but he also donates a lot to charity.
He built the largest microsoft business. He had a syndrome called asperger’s. In 1999 he topped 101 billion dollars Bill Gates is a wonderful man that makes billions of dollars and has overcome asperger’s. He is an amazing man. He built the largest microsoft business in the entire world.

His impact on the world has been astronomical resulting in many advancements in science and technology that just wouldn’t have been possible without him. In order to fully understand his significance and influence in the world, one must be knowledgeable of his background, the critics view of his most famous achievement, and must have a discussion about his impact and importance in the modern world.
Bill Gates went from an upper middle-class family to the one of the richest men in the world; who owns the largest software company, Microsoft. Neither Bill, nor Microsoft have reached their peak, but many events helped to lead them to where they are today. In the beginning, Bill Gates, a skinny, shy awkward boy born on October 28, 1955 to Mary and William Gates. As a teenager, Bill seemed an unlikely successor to his overachieving parents. His father, an attorney and his mother a teacher, University of Washington regent, and chairwoman of the United Way placed him in Lakeside. This is a very elite private school. It was there, that Bill was first introduced to computers. The following year, he wrote his first computer program, then a scheduling program for the school - which coincidentally placed him and his best friend, Paul Allen, in the same classes as the prettiest girls in the school.

When most people hear about Bill Gates the first thing that comes to mind is the obscene amount of money he has made through out his career. Owning many different foundations, the most common foundation known to most college students is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that provide many different scholarships. However, this foundation also does various things to give back to communities and aiding suffering countries. Within this foundation there are also various branches such as the United States Program, The Global Development Program and the Global health program that have grown over time making the Gates a commonly used household name.

Microsoft is a computing software company. Microsoft was made and founded on April 4th 1975 by two young men who were captivated by computers. Their names were Bill Gates and Paul Allen. The homebase was in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft became one of the most famous and successful companies in the world. “Microsoft was one of the pioneers responsible for bringing the personal computer into the lives of millions of people.” (Musolf). The company has had such a great impact that now the name “Microsoft” is now virtually synonymous with computer software.
Bill was born on October 28th, 1955 his parents are William H. Gates Sr and Mary Maxwell Gates. Since he was a child he was interested in computers. “His education started at a local private school known for tough academic standards. When he was first introduced to computers he would skip class to work with the machine. After getting in trouble he gave up computers to focus on education for a year. He dropped out of harvard after his sophomore year because of his success with computers”(Mcguire 1). He was so interested in computers he dropped out of Harvard one of the best schools in America to pursue computers. Due to all of Gates knowledge on computers he was easily able to get a job “Gates' first professional job came soon after he and his computer friends wrote The Problem Report Book, a 300-page manual they compiled after going through the garbage bins of Seattle's Computer Center Corporation (CCC) and finding all the programmers' errors. CCC officials were so impressed with the boys that they gave them jobs”(Mcguire 1). Gates was easily able to get a job by just finding errors in a computer software because of how much he knew about computers. Bill Gates past knowledge of computers helped him become who he is
Bill Gates had done the seemingly impossible. This one man has changed the way we all think; he did it with his passion and his intelligence. This world runs on computers because of what he revolutionized, he was at times controversial, but, he was a very talented businessman.
On October 28, 1955 William H. Gates III (nicknamed "trey") was born in Seattle. His father was a lawyer (William H. Gates II) and his mother was a schoolteacher. He also had two older sisters who were in high school when Bill was born. Bill attended a public elementary school before he moved to a private school in North Seattle named Lakeside. Lakeside's strong academics enabled Bill to actively get involved with computers (which were the love of his life next to baseball) and use his superior intellect. This was the beginning of a long and successful career in computers. Bill combined his intellect and visions of technology along with his active participation in may charities to make our world a better place.
