You have probably heard of the work of the coroner . It is a profession widespread nowadays, thanks to shows like CSI , Bones , Dexter , among many others who disclose a bit day to day legal professional . It is clear that the series are a bit fanciful and dramatized : it is not for the expert interrogate the suspects and the skills are not always so quick . Depending on the type and state of the evidence may take months to conclude an expert report . [ 5 ]
However , the series has attracted the attention of people to this kind of profession, as if they were a kind of attractive . And this , of course , is valuing this new area in Brazil , which despite having many shortcomings such as lack of literature in Portuguese and lack of specific courses and forensic sciences in universities , is developing more and more.
Took a greater knowledge of this area by means of a journal I get home from the regional council of chemistry. And it was from there that I got interested and researching the forensic field . And so here I am, to relate to the profession of genetic coroner . First, allow me to present what makes a coroner , according to my knowledge -based [ 3 ] and [ 5 ] .
The work of the expert is basically collect and analyze traces that were left at the scene , later turning them into concrete evidence that can convict or acquit the defendant , through expert reports meticulously . There are two types of experts: The field collecting evidence at the crime scene and laboratory analyzing traces .

The case has had repercussions throughout the country and the world was solved with the help of experts and the girl's father and stepmother were convicted . [ 4 ]

The techniques well as the study of DNA in forensic genetics are still under development. The improvement can ensure more efficiency in the analysis and therefore greater reliability in forensic evidence . The benefits that forensic science can bring are numerous : seemingly intractable cases can be clarified and people falsely accused may be acquitted .
And so the forensic sciences will walked : to elucidate the facts and the attainment of justice .
