Wish I could be
Anything I wanna be
Wanna be a fireman
Wanna be an astronaut
Wanna sail the seas
Just like a sailor
But it's not the end of the world
So baby don't get upset
It's just a little regret
Less than a year left of high school, then four years of college to study who knows what, and after that... I do not know. There are so many things I wish I could do, so many careers I think would be interesting as the lyrics above suggest. I am big on traveling just to see the sights. I could wander endlessly on through the world.
I could visit China to see the Great Wall, Russia to see the Red Square, and Australia to SCUBA dive in the Great Coral Reef. I would go from there to South Africa to see my best friend from fifth grade, taking my camera with me the whole way. I would check out the ancient Greek and Roman structures in Europe and follow the footsteps of my grandfather to the ends of the world.
When my tour had ended, I would return to college to learn to be an astronaut so I could carry my exploration even further. And after exhausting my wonder of the universe I would return to explore the depths of the ocean.
And so as for getting ready for a career, I do not have any time; my schedule is packed for the next 253 years. I only regret that I do not have enough in my life to do all that I dream.
But it's not the end of the world
So baby don't get upset
It's just a little regret
I will just have to be content to save the majority of my travels for eternity.
But as for my current preparations for the real world, I have a few things going for me. I have always been a good student and done well at many things. I am a perfectionist to an extent.
Television had the power to bring people together as those who did not yet have a television
A smart man once said "It is not about the destination but about the journey itself". Life it a never-ending
I hope that my next journey will bring more wonders to my attention, and then I can bring home more works of art foreign to us. Only by exploring the world can we understand it.
When we were little, we thought the word “Career” was not a big deal, but as a senior in high school, the word has become our reality as we start to finish our last semester. The question we’ve been asked all these years is, what do you want to be when you grow up? But our answer is simple: we don’t want to grow up. As an innocent kid it seemed like the time would never come, but it has. It’s time to get serious and really ponder this question.
Finding your calling in life can be one of the hardest things to do, for some it is obvious from a young age on what you want to do. For example, my mom has gone on a spree of jobs in her life and she has only recently found something that she actually wants to do. My dad on the other hand knew from a young age what he wanted to do, he liked to tinker and straight after he got out of highschool he knew that he wanted to be a mechanic, and he has stuck with that career path for more than 30 years now. I am currently undecided on what I want to do for the rest of my life, however one of the careers that I am looking at is a law enforcement officer.
When I was younger I use to pretend to be a doctor or nurse. It was always fun to go around and check to see who had a heart beat, who was bleeding, and who was hurt. I knew that I wanted a career in the medical field, but was unsure if I really wanted to be a doctor or a nurse. I thought the only career was to be a doctor or nurse. Of course, the medical profession is larger than that. It includes office staff, EMT’s, nurses, physician assistants, and several other kinds of physicians. While the opportunities are endless in this career field, I have decided that being a doctor or nurse was not what I really wanted to do. It takes too long; the schooling alone is longer than four years. I was not willing to spend more than four years in school. Instead I decided that I wanted to do something that is in the same field as a doctor or nurse. Yet, something that takes less time in school to get a degree for. In addition, I wanted it to be something that I could do to help doctors, nurses, and patients. That is when I found out that Medical Coding and Billing is what I wanted to do.
I have always wondered what my future career would be.I experienced many things during my days in school and at home.My experiences helped me realize that I should become an animal caretaker.Becoming an animal caretaker would mean that I could spend my time working and interacting with animals.I would need to be able to care for living creatures, have the right education, and withstand the disadvantages.
I would go to Mexico because I've been there many a time before and I really like it there. I would fly there on delta airlines because my grandpa was a pilot and my dad gets to fly on stand by that mean he gets to fly for really cheap. I would go to ocean Coral and turquesa because I've been there 3 time and it is super fun. It is an all expenses paid hotel so I don't need any money because you already paid for every thing. If I left the hotel I would go to Chichén Itzá, Yucatan, Mexico which is 2 hours and 15 mins away from the hotel but it is worth it you can pay 64 dollars each person for a exclusive person viewing. The chichen itza is a beautiful pyramid that a lot of people go to see. After we got back from the pyramid we would come back to the hotel and do all sorts of Things like scuba diving, swim with sharks, go look at the corral reefs around
Ask yourself “if I could take a trip ANYWHERE where would I go” well, I asked myself the same question where would I go? Here is my answer, I would go to the Bahamas because I think that I need to try something new. I think that if I went to the Bahamas then i would try everything because i am very deprived as in i don’t take advantage of the things i could be doing.
After high school I have many plans that I would like to accomplish, but I know that I have to take it slow because I can’t have everything at once. After I graduate, I plan to pick up business on my golf cart ...
What will I do for the rest of my life? Every person asks this question at some stage of their life, usually during their later teenage years. As a high school junior, I am now asking myself this question. After considerable thought, I have devised a tentative plan for my future. I realize that some of these plans and goals may change over time, but with a plan, the first steps of the journey can begin. To prepare me for the journey, I have taken very challenging high school curriculum, such as Honors and Advanced Placement courses. These classes will not only assist in my admission to college, but have also helped me to develop strong study skills and time management.
For so many years I’ve asked myself the question, “what are you going to do with your life?” For a period of time I struggled with this question. Today, I sit staring at my computer, confronting myself, asking my subconscious “what do I want to do for the rest of my life?” Have I finally found the answer I 've been looking for, or am I under the false assumption that this is the right path for me. This semester has been the ultimate opportunity to explore my questions, doubt, issues, and concerns. I feel that by the end of this paper I will have answered all these questions, and will have made the best decision for my future.
Most importantly, I hope to visit every continent. I have always had the dream of traveling all over the world and finding the place where I want to live for the rest of my life. I imagine myself studying abroad somewhere in Europe for a year in college. I think that studying abroad allows a person to have a meaningful experience since he or she will learn everyday while also living in a completely different place that give you more experience in the real world. Along with this, I want to do more than just traveling; I want to do everything that a person is able to do on each continent. I want to see the wonders of the world, climb Mt. Everest, etc. Traveling is the most important thing I want to accomplish, because aside from my absolute love of travel and adventure, I want to experience culture and worlds that I have never been exposed to before. By visiting each continent, I know I will be fulfilling my ultimate goal of finding a place where I want to spend the rest of my l...
As I reflect and look at my career journey, I realize that I have not really had a career journey. I have held a few jobs; however, I have not had a job I would consider my career yet. Furthermore, I only worked for a couple of months in each of the jobs I had in the past. Currently, I do not have a job yet, and I realize that I am now 24 years of age and should be starting my way to a career. However, I have not looked into jobs in my career field because I feel as though I am not ready yet to start working in my field.
Making a telephone call no longer should conjure up visions of operators connecting cables by hand or even of electrical signals causing relays to click into place and effect connections during dialing. The telephone system now is just a multilevel computer network with software switches in the network nodes to route calls get through much more quickly and reliably than they did in the past. A disadvantage is the potential for dramatic and widespread failures; for as has happened.
