Apple Inc.
I am going to start off by going into a little bit of history about apple and how it has grown over the past 10 years or so, I am also going to talk about some new products from Apple such as Apple TV and the iphone, as well as the name change, and the new direction they have chosen to take with their marketing and what it has helped them accomplish over the past couple of years.
Apple Inc. has come a long way from what it used to be. The computer market has always been a PC based system being mainly pushed by the Microsoft software platform. Apple Computers has been struggling to make it in the computer market for a long time, going up against their competitor Microsoft who had a monopoly on the market. Microsoft had such a strong following for the entire business world that it was very difficult for Apple to make any sort of impact against its competitor Microsoft.
In 1997 Bill Gates invested $150 million into Apple Computers and agreed to create Microsoft office for the Macintosh platform which was a huge leap for the struggling company. This gave Apple the jump start they needed to fight back and get into the main consumer market.
On October 23rd 2001 Apple introduced the iPod which revolutionized the protable music player industry. It was the best way to listen to CD-quality songs on a small portable player that fits in you’re pocket. There were many other types of mp3 players out at the time however the simplicity of getting you’re music onto you’re iPod was second to non. With the auto-sync feature through you’re itunes it made things very simple for the average comsumer. I bet that there isn’t many people in this classroom that doesn’t have an ipod, or the persentage of people with an mp3 player would be...

...ves with the iphone trying to obtain the cell phone market as well. The opertunities are almost endless with the iphone technology making it very attractive to the business market to conduct emails, web surfing or text messaging. It is al the average consumer that is looking for a toy with phone capabilites. All of these other products using the Mac platform and the fact that apple is making it so easy to switch over from Windows to Mac is changing peoples views on Apple and making them think twice about what computer choice they want to make the next time they purchase a computer.
So the next time you are thinking about buying a computer, thinking about it. Apple has really thought things out, and they are on the move. If they can follow through with their marketing strategy, I predict that someday, not too far in the distance future they will take over the world.
Apple Computer Inc designs, manufactures, and markets personal computers and related personal computing and communication solutions. The return of Steve Jobs, the companies founder, as CEO has pulled the company’s stock price up 775-percent through his launch of innovative products such as the iMac computer line. On January 5, 2000, Jobs announced that he was dropping interim from his CEO title and taking the job full-time. With this news and Apple’s new products such as the iBook, a portable pc and Quick TV, an internet television access feature, Apple Computer is headed for success and is sure to increase their share in the computer market.
Apple is a king in the technology world; poisoning every area of the industry that they have introduced a product too. They are slowly weeding their competition out. The only a company thrives in the thorn bush market is if they are in cahoots with apple. Apples co-founder Steve Jobs, started the company with all intention of dominating the market. The only obstacle for them is the Anti-trust law created ages ago. Apple, in their attempt to take the market over, has been racking up evidence against themselves. There reach has leaped boarders and even caught the attention of the European Union. Apple is pushing their boundaries and in the future will eventually cross the line in to monopolistic actions.
to Apple Inc. in 2007. The company which had pc driving its growth over the years transformed into more of a Smartphone company. Mac pc was impressive in terms of hardware but it was Windows operating system which gave it a tough competition. To achieve a sustainable growth Apple should be focused more towards development of its operating system. Android is the main competitor for iOS. Android which is Linux based and partly open source, is more PC like than IOS. Android is easily customizable as compared to apple IOS. Apple should work aggressively towards working of development of more number of apps with the developers across the industry so as to increase the reach of IOS and making it a more preferable choice among its
Apple has its competitors, as it is expected, and they do not fall behind by much. One of its biggest competitors is the company Samsung. For years, those two companies have been head to head in the electronical world. All over the web one can find all sorts of articles talking about the conflicts of those two companies and about how they each claim that the other one took their products and just changed its name. But thankfully, those two companies are still strong (no matter how much people complain about the other one) and they both have a lot of people supporting them. There are two sides when talking about phone and electronics: the Apple side and the Samsung side. Now, what those two companies need to be careful about is to not let their guards down and allow the competition to take over, but then again, Apple is well... Apple and they would never let that happen (they have not done it for almost 50 years, they would not do it
The development of Apple Inc. came during the unstable economic times of the 1970’s. Best friends and college dropouts, Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak pooled their electronic and business skills to market what was to become the first personal computer. Stephen Wozniak had designed a small computer, the Apple 1, for the enjoyment of some friends at a Homebrew Computer Club meeting. The Apple 1 developed in Steve Jobs’ bedroom and garage, while he envisioned the commercial potential of a personal computer that could help families with personal finances and small businesses with day to day tasks. Vision, drive and creativity allowed this entrepreneur to take the risk to create a business. The challenge of building that business and the desire to control his destiny required passion and perseverance along with innovation.

Their creative marketing coupled with their unique product meshes together to form a multi-billion dollar company. Many people will refer to the success of apple as the underdog company that made despite the odds. Founder Steve Jobs was a regular person with a dream. He started of building an Apple computer in his parent’s living room and later moved to the garage true to lack of space. Later on in his building career a neighbor of Steve Jobs introduced him to Stephen Gary Wonzniak. Wonzniak was an engineer and Jobs was a market maven and together they have the skills to build and properly promote. The computer they were trying to promote was fairly expensive computer. Jobs was so dedicated to this idea of transforming this computer from what it was to something that is able to be sold to the public he reached out to Bill Hewlett and asked him to donate some parts for a class projects .
