Egyptian history is rich, vibrant, and full of interesting cultural knowledge. Egypt is one of the most fertile countries located in the Mediterranean Sea; because approximately 40,000 years ago many people lived in Egypt earlier than in other places. The Egyptian environment is a hot and dry area, because it is a part of the Sahara Desert. Many Egyptians’ religious beliefs were polytheistic; they believed in several different gods. The economy during the ancient Egyptian time period was different because they were one of the first groups on earth to begin the farming trade. Although Egyptian history occurred many years ago, it is still interesting and fascinating. (Environment/ culture, Religion, Economy) Of course, Ancient Egypt was famously known for their pyramids. Which was used to store dead bodies of deceased kings and all the things they believed he needed in the afterlife. The temples were designed with consistent pattern, typically with an entrance, open forecourts, roofed hall and the inner sanctuary. As often seen on television, as one would go down the hallway of the temple the width would get narrow and narrower. Not surprising at all but only priests were allowed in the sanctuary. Paintings of Ancient Egypt, as seen mainly in the temples, were bright and colorful. These paintings presented both daily life of the Egyptians, and also their ideas of the afterlife. The population number of Ancient Egypt extended between 1.5 and 6 million depending on the period. Most of the people lived close to the Nile, but there were also a significant number of people who lived in the Nile Delta. Matter of fact, products was bartered, and workers were paid in wheat, barley and, sometimes, in craft products like pottery, clothes. Overall, the Ancient Egypt had many great accomplishments. The Egyptians build pyramids in honor of their pharaohs, which are legendarily today. Although they worshipped many different gods, they believed in live after death and developed a system of mummification. Their civilization had a pretty advanced economy.
