Life is made up by success and failure. No one is always successful and no one is always a failure. Therefore, it doesn't make much difference whether people are successful or not. The most important thing is simply how people face failure. When someone fails in his attempt in doing something, he often feels upset. Some people may yield to failure and flinch from it. But others will stick to and achieve the final success. However, according to Achor's theory, failing up, is about finding the path out and up from the negative events of our lives. As he says, if we are able to conceive of a failure as an opportunity for growth, we are all the more likely to experience that growth. He also explains that failing up is about using that downward momentum to propel ourselves in the opposite direction. It’s about capitalizing on setbacks and adversity to become even happier, even more motivated, and even more successful. It’s not falling down, it’s falling up. For me, I totally agree with his theory because failure is a good teacher which lets me know what mistakes I make, and failure always can be a chance for me to improve myself, the last thing is willing to accept failure leads me to be successful.
In the eyes of me, failure can be a good teacher to help us to be better the second time around. ...hieving success. Success will be gained after many times of failures so long as we are willing to face and learning lesson from our failures. It is true that failure is an important factor toward success. The way to success is full of various difficulties and obstacles. History teaches me that many important inventions or discoveries is achieved after hundreds of failure. And no one would be always a failure. Storms always give way to the sun. Winter always thaws into springtime. So if our storm will pass, our winter will thaw. We will not far from success if we have faced a lot of failure.
In conclusion, from Achor's theory, I know that failure is not only as a teacher to teaches people draw a lesson from every failure, but also give people a chance to get a higher improvement, the last thing is failure makes people success. That's why I agree with Achor's ideas.
