An Unforgettable Adventure

“Mister Klemen … Mister Klemen,” repeats a voice which is quite familiar to my ears.

All of my senses except one are numb; however I try to open my eyes to see what is happening to me. The last thing I remember is a long iron bar striking my head from the front. Since then I am able to hear this voice which has a slight Cuban accent. Shortly, I am able to come to my senses and open my eyes. A bright beam of light is blinding and disabling me to see my surroundings. It only takes me a few seconds to realize that I am tied down onto a chair with metal shackles around my wrist and ankles. These shackles give me an uncomfortable feeling, about what is going to happen. Drowsily I look at the person who is calling my name for the sixth time. His face is blurred by the reduced dilation speed of my pupils and it feels as if I am starring into a black hole because he is absorbing my full attention. It does not take long until I am able to see his visage clearly as he approaches me.

“Welcome back Mister Klemen you have finally come to your senses,” he said in a deep voice.

The room in which I am being captured is clean and appears to be a usual doctor’s office. It appears that I was in this room once before, a long time ago when I first started to work for the CIA as an undercover agent. I feel like I see a Déjà vu because Dr. Holland is standing in the same spot as he did just a few years ago. His posture is worse than before because his back is slightly and wrinkles on his face enables him to appear unrecognizable, however, his emerald green eyes reveal his true identity. The hair is as white as his apron which has a look as it has been worn for generations.

“What are you doing to me and why am I in shackles?” asked I with a bro...

“Good job Matt, you did perfectly until the part where you got shot. Oh well, I guess not everyone is perfect so I let you have the job as undercover agent,” chuckles a man with a brown coat covering his big build body, “Dr., please give him the antidote for the memory loss, I want him to be back up and ready to go for work tomorrow.”

The Doctor injects me with a serum and said, “Don’t worry Matt, once you wake up, you will feel all better again and you will remember everything once again.”

With complete confusion my eyelids felt like a heavy curtain and shut within seconds.
