The year was 1878 was the beginning of Electricity. That year Thomas Edison had made the first affordable light bulb. That year he focused primarily to make a light bulb powered by electricity which was safe; something that scientist were trying to make and succeed since 1828 "Thomas Alva Edison." History.com. A&E Television Networks, n.d. Web. 01 Dec. 2013.) With the help of J.P Morgan (financial banker) he founded his company. Edison soon later became quite famous around the world. His lighting systems were soon used to light the “Paris lighting exhibition” and the “Crystal palace of London” ("Thomas Alva Edison." History.com. ) Later on came in the “the battle of currents”

The year of 1884 was in a period of magnificent things. Things that would ever change our world; in good ways and bad ways ("Nikola Tesla." History.com.) This year was the year when Nikola Tesla was hired as an engineer for Thomas Edison’s company in Electricity. There he learned many things about electricity and gained an extraordinary amount of ideas that would soon help him the future

While Tesla was working at Edison's company he was take advantage of him, Edison would take his ideas and would not give credit to Tesla. One day Edison offered Tesla fifty thousand dollars if he could be able to redesign Edison's DC dynamos but when Tesla had completed his task he was not given his fifty thousand dollars and told “Tesla you don't understand our American Humor,” after that Tesla had quit the company for a better future ("Nikola Tesla." History.com. A&E Television Networks, n.d.)

Tesla had a new idea for the future, an idea where Electricity would no longer be supported by...

This period was such a great thing that happened to our country. These men had built america and helped it in many ways. Like Morgan he helped this country plenty of times through financial crisis. There was a battle of currents that included two of the most famous men in history Edison and Tesla. There were advantages and disadvantages. But they all helped a more powerful country and us to become a stronger.
