America and Israel Support
From the creation of Israel in 1947 to present day, America has supported Israel. The prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The United States has given Israel, apart from political and military support, munificent and magnificent assistance in the economic sphere. With America’s help, Israel has grown to be a powerful, modern state.” America has help and turned Israel to a very powerful nation. The United States provides 3 billion dollars to the Israeli government each year. However the real number is about 4.3 billions dollars in total foreign aid and America in total has given Israel 140 billion dollars 3 billion dollars of support equals to $500 per year for each individual Israeli. This is more than any other country America gives to. In contrast, Egypt who gets the second most amount of aid from America collects only $20 per individual. Countries that are very poor and have a high rate of poverty like Pakistan and Haiti only receives 5% of what Israel gets per person. Furthermore, a Foreign Military Financing program enforces countries that receive military aid to spend all the assistance given by America in U.S. because it keeps United States workers employed. Congress passed a special bill that let Israel spend only 1/4th of military assistance from the United States in America. This helped the defense industry of Israel to grow very big and mature. As a result, Israel became the 8th greatest weapon distributer in 2004. In addition, America supports Israel with military assistance that has been very significant towards the well being of Israelis. The United States has given Israel $3 billion dollars to make advance military equipment such as the Lavi aircraft, the Merkava tank, a...

...IA official record, the quality of Israeli intelligence about Arabs was mostly consisted of gossip stuff and the Israelis did not understand anything about the Arabs. Israelis are incompetent about the Arab world, but gives America intelligence that makes little sense and has almost no value. The strategic value of Israel and quality of intelligence has diminished after the Cold War.
In conclusion, Israel is the one of few countries in the world that America supports unconditionally. However this relationship jeopardizes America’s moral authority in the world. If America wants to be an effective leader of the world, it needs to have credibility and trust with other countries. America helping Israel unconditionally destroys this moral authority that America strives for. Arabs already hate America for giving missiles to Israel to kill innocent children and women
The Middle East has since time immemorial been on the global scope because of its explosive disposition. The Arab Israeli conflict has not been an exception as it has stood out to be one of the major endless conflicts not only in the region but also in the world. Its impact continues to be felt all over the world while a satisfying solution still remains intangible. A lot has also been said and written on the conflict, both factual and fallacious with some allegations being obviously evocative. All these allegations offer an array of disparate views on the conflict. This essay presents an overview of some of the major literature on the controversial conflict by offering precise and clear insights into the cause, nature, evolution and future of the Israel Arab conflict.
Israel has long held a policy of counter attack to deal with terrorists harbored by governments of neighboring countries. Following 9/11, the United States government adopted this policy. As part of this new policy the US military went after terrorists in Afghanistan and destroyed the country’s infrastructure as well as innocent civilians in the process. In early 2003, Iraq was attacked for the same reasons, with the same resulting damage. Terrorism directed against Iraqis and Coalition forces as well as military retaliation by Coalition forces continues to make the headlines in occupied Iraq. The cycle of violence continues.
Since the inception of an Israeli nation-state in 1948, violence and conflict has played a major role in Israel’s brief history. In the Sixty-One year’s Israel has been a recognized nation-state, they have fought in 6 interstate wars, 2 civil wars, and over 144 dyadic militarized interstate disputes (MIDs) with some display of military force against other states (Maoz 5). Israel has been involved in constant conflict throughout the past half century. Israel’s tension against other states within the Middle East has spurred vast economic, social, and political unity that has fostered a sense of nationalism and unity in Israel not seen in most other states. Over the next several pages I will try and dissect the reasons for why the nation state of Israel has been emerged in constant conflict and how this conflict has helped foster national unity and identity among the people of Israel.
Events throughout history have been drastically shaped by spies, unknown heroes and unspoken stories. This is true within Mossad, an Israeli special intelligence organization. Spying, covert operations, assassinations, and espionage are at the heart of the Israeli Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations (Mossad-About Us, pg 1). Although Mossad has been in existence for many years, the impact that Mossad had on society was at all time high under Andrew Joseph. Mr. Joseph was a Jewish Indian who grew up in the mountains of Russia.

The media vilifies the Arab states e.g. Iran, Iraq, Syria even when it was America who installed the dictatorships in the first place for fear of single Islamic entity forming, and they support Israel who are in the process of genocide against Palestinians.
The Middle East has historically rebuked Western influence during their process of establishing independence. When Britain and France left the Middle East after World War II, the region saw an unprecedented opportunity to establish independent and self-sufficient states free from the Western influence they had felt for hundreds of years. In an attempt to promote nationalistic independence, the states of the region immediately formed the League of Arab States in 1945. The League recognized and promoted the autonomy of its members and collaborated in regional opposition against the West until 1948 when Israel declared independence. Israel represented then and now an intrusive Western presence in the Arab world. The ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict typifies this cultural antagonism. The Cold War refocused attention to the Middle East as a site of economic and strategic importance for both sides, yet the two hegemons of the Cold War now needed to recognize the sovereignty of the Middle Eastern states. With their statehood and power cemented, the Middle Easte...
The ongoing and explosive Israeli-Palestinian conflict has its roots in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century when two major nationalist movements among the Jews and Arabs were born. Both of these groups’ movements were geared toward attaining sovereignty for their people in the Middle East, where they each had historical and religious ties to the land that lies between the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Toward the end of the 19th century, Southern Syria (Palestine) was divided into two regions, inhabited primarily by Arab Muslims, and ruled by the Turkish Ottoman Empire (BBC News). At this time, most of the Jews worldwide lived predominantly in eastern and central Europe. When the Zionist political movement was established in 1887 and began to fund land purchases in the Ottoman Empire controlled region of Palestine, tensions between the two groups arose. Since then, Israel and Palestine have been vying for control of this land that they both covet, and this conflict remains as one of the world’s major sources of instability today, involving many different players. One of these players who continues to halt the peace process, is a militant fundamentalist Islamic organization called Hamas. Hamas has intensified extreme opposition and bloodshed in the region, with the aim of destroying the state of Israel. However, few people know that starting in the mid 1970s, Israel secretly supported an organization that would later emerge as Hamas, even though both groups had competing future visions for the nation. Why did it choose to do this when it had so much at stake? This paper will address the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict leading up to the beginning of Israeli support of Hama...

In 1825, a group of American businesspeople announced the formation of a canal building company, with interests in constructing a canal system across the Isthmus. This project was to take place in an area now called Panama. The endeavor was filled with controversy. Though the canal itself was not built until the early 1900's every step toward the building and ownership, was saturated with difficulty.
...US support for Israel, contributed in making US interests more magnetic targets for outraged groups. This relation is not the only grievance of these groups, of course, but it is a central one, and it makes advancing other U.S. interests more difficult.
Also, the United States has a strong military force and a powerful leader. “Over the past sixty years, the United States and Israel have slowly developed a strategy partnership. The United States benefited when Israel destroyed the Egyptian and Syrian armies during the 1967 and 1973 wars.” (Bowman and Bourassa). The United States and Israel’s bond has been getting stronger and stronger as the years go by because the United States have been supporting Israel for almost five decades. If they continue to have this bond with each other; the two countries, Israel and Palestine, could possibly end up having peace together once and for all because the United states could help them through it like if it were a therapist. Bill Clinton, an ex president of the United States, attempted to fix the conflict between the two countries by making a peace treaty between Israel and Jordan; another country Israel has problems with, Clinton hoped that if there was a peace treaty with Israel and Jordan then tension between Israel and Palestine would calm down a bit, but it actually did not really work out as well as he thought it would be (Bowman and Bourassa). As Clinton tried managing this conflict his action shows the effort the United States put into as an ally of Israel. Clinton
