Recommended: Similarities Between Science And Christianity

Christian Science What is Christian Science? Who is Mary Baker Eddy? Where does Christian Science come from? Is Christian Science like Scientology? What are Christian Science beliefs? Why are we here and where do we go when we die? These question may be raised when you hear Christian Science. Christian Science is unique in its own way, it may not seem all that amazing like other religions but Christian Science is truly amazing over all. Some people refer to Christian Science as non-Christian or an a cult, but that’s not true. Christian Science is a religion that formed more slowly than other religions but is still a good religion. Christian Science is a religion that lets you understand God, Jesus Christ, good from evil, salvation, life and death, and more. “Anyone can find God to be ‘a very present help in trouble’” (Ps. 46:1 quoted in “What is Christian Science?”). In every religion there is a heart that holds it together and for Christian Science that would be love and all the feelings you get from God. Christian Science is a religion that mainly focuses on healing, that is what the practice and work on, their healing skills. People who are Christian Scientist work on their healing so they can be more like God, God is able to cure any illness, sin, illnesses and even death. Christian Science was founded by Mary Baker Eddy, Massachusetts USA 1879. In 1866 Mary Baker Eddy started studying and went on for many years. By 1875 Mary Baker Eddy published a book called, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. This book told about healing and science, this book is used a holy text. When God healed people the way he did “Mary Baker Eddy said, ‘these mighty works are not supernatural, but supremely natural...’” ... ... middle of paper ... ... that truly exists, nothing else. There is no death, because humans are immortal spirits. Christian Science is a religion that lets you understand God, Jesus and everything. Christian Science was founded in1879 by Mary Baker Eddy, who studied health and science. Her book she wrote “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” is used as one of Christian Sciences sacred texts. Christian Science does not have anything to do with Scientology, they are completely different religions. Christian Scientist believe in an all-powerful God and the authority and inspiration of the Bible, and think of God as principle, soul, mind, spirit, life, truth, and love. Christian Scientists believe that we are not real, Heaven and Hell don’t exist, to believe that everything is real is an error. There is no death because we are immortal spirits, God is the only one that truly exists.

The adverse effects of concepts such as scientism and relativism has led to nonscientific claims being trivialized in the healthcare system.
