Hamlet is a tragedy written by the famous William Shakespeare. Hamlet goes insane in the play, because his mixture of love for his father and Ophelia. Then having hate to his mother and Claudius, because Hamlet knows what Claudius did to his father. Hamlet is normal in the beginning of the play. Then gets a visit from his dead father, and finds out his father was murdered. Hamlet’s father (Hamlet Sr.) wants Hamlet to avenge his death. Hamlet Sr. was the king, and then his brother, Claudius, wanted to be king. Next Claudius killed Hamlet Sr., and the short after that married his brother’s wife, Queen Gertrude. This is how Hamlet started to go insane, and make people worry about him. But somehow Hamlet going insane led to the truth about Hamlet …show more content…

In the quote above Hamlet shows insane/sassy mood going between him, and others around him. His mother was telling Hamlet that he should not be wearing black cloths since their is a new king. Hamlet explains that he is expressing just a little of what he is feeling. This feeling he has now will contribute to Hamlet going insane. The language structure changes a lot when Shakespeare wrote Hamlet. For example the mood in the quote above is a mixture of sadness, and hate due to his father passing. In the next example of Shakespeare’s Hamlet would be a scene described by the wonderful Ophelia. This scene also has Ophelia’s father Polonius, because Ophelia has to explain what Hamlet did to her. Hamlet is insane due to many reasons listed in Hamlet, but I don’t have time to tell you all of them. Hamlet’s father died or you could say murdered. After Hamlet’s Sr. death. Hamet started to see his father’s ghost. Hamlet’s insane moments were getting more violent as he went on. Hamlet almost killed his Uncle Claudius who became king, and married the queen. Hamlet killed Polonius, who was Ophelia’s father. This happened when he was talking to his mother. He was obsessed with finding the truth of his father’s death, and with that soon led Hamlet to his own death. Having both sides on whether Hamlet is insane or he is just faking it. This can really help clear up a picture of Hamlet, and help readers decide for themselves if he is insane or he was faking. In some acts, and scenes Hamlet is pushing people’s buttons. The thing he doesn’t have to be in person to do so. When they had planned Ophelia to run into Hamlet, and he was being insane or you could say he was slightly mean. It was like his feelings had completely changed towards Ophelia. Unfortunately you could tell he was faking it. Since Hamlet is insane, I mean how can someone be not insane.
